WAND MOTOR SYSTEM

REMOTE CONTROL MOTOR SYSTEM

WAND CONTROLLED MOTORWand control shades are powered by the same lithium-ion internal battery motor as remote control shades. The motor is controlled using a wand which hangs down to the side of the shade.

Wand control shade motor batteries are recharged via a mini USB power adaptor which plugs into the end of the wand.

Wands are available in 4 lengths: 24", 36", 48" and 60”. Available colors include: white, beige, gray, bronze and black

All wand control shades will be made with the head rail and valance 5/8" wider than the shade fabric on the control side allowing the wand to hang to the side of the shade. This may cause a light gap on blackout shades - see below for details.

INSIDE MOUNTThe shade, head rail and valance will be made with a 3/8" IB deduction. The shade fabric will be cut an extra 5/8" narrower on the control side.

OUTSIDE MOUNTThe shade fabric will be made at the ordered width. The head rail and valance will be 5/8" wider on the control side.

Remote control shades are powered by a lithium-ion internal battery motor, which is operated by either a single- or multi-channel radio frequency remote. The single-channel remote can operate up to 20 shades in one group, with a range of about 100 feet. The multi-channel remote has 15 channels and is recommended to operate shades of different lengths. Wall switches are an available alternative to the remotes.

The motor battery is recharged using an AC power adaptor, which plugs into a port in the head of the motor. A solar panel charger alternative is also available; once properly installed it is a permanent power source.

Motorized shades will be mounted on a deeper head rail (see Specifications for details).

EDGE BINDING COLOR REFERENCERio Roman shades are produced with specified edge binding color. Refer to the fabric listing page for the pre-determined color details. Edge binding width will vary depending on the fabric, standard widths are 3/8” - 1/2”.

FABRIC LINER COLORSFabric liners offer additional light control, privacy and insulation. Each fabric liner is attached to the backside of the shade.

FREIGHT & DELIVERY CHARGESEffective 8/3/20

Freight will be prepaid when shipping to commercial locations provided packages fall within small package carrier shipping guidelines and are shipping within the Continental US. Full freight charges will be assessed on any shipment made outside the Continental US. We will charge a $7.00 per blind/shade ($25 minimum per order) shipping/ handling fee on all small package carrier shipments.

Shutter orders (including local truck deliveries) will be charged a $20.00 per unit shipping & handling fee ($75.00 minimum per order). Shutter orders with sizes 96” and over will incur a $50.00 per unit oversize charge ($80.00 minimum). This is in addition to the per unit shipping/handling fee.

FREIGHT SURCHARGESFedex Ground ShippingBlinds/Shade sizes up to 95 7/8" - $7.00 per blind/shade ($25 minimum) handling fee on all deliveries. Maximum shipping charges for products that fall into this category will be $125.00 per order.$5.50 per order on any C.O.D. shipment. This is in addition to the per blind handling fee.

Fedex Oversized Shipping - FedEx Express Saver Product sizes 96" -108" Up to 4 units - $50.00 per unit ($80.00 minimum). This is in addition to the per unit shipping/handling fee. Orders that fall into this category must ship via 3-day FedEx Express Saver. Orders with any product greater than 108” will be shipped via common carrier. Multiple over-sized orders of 5 units or more will ship common carrier. See Common Carrier Shipping below for additional details.

Supersized ShippingProduct sizes over 156” will incur a $1000 flat shipping charge.

Common Carrier Shipping Any order that has 50 units or greater, regardless of size, will charged the per unit per unit shipping/handling fee and will require a freight quote. We reserve the right to use the delivery method of our choice on larger or oversized shipments.

ORDER RESHIPS Reships due to incorrect address information will be charged actual freight.

TIMBERBLINDMETROSHADE LOCAL TRUCK ROUTES Orders on local delivery truck routes with blinds over 108” will deliver via common carrier and will be charged common carrier rates listed above. For orders containing product over 156” wide, the supersized common carrier charges apply.

This policy does not apply to expedited, Same Day, Express, Air Freight, Overnight, 2nd Day, or 3rd Day shipping services. Additional rules, restrictions and limitations apply. Please contact customer service for applicable surcharges and rate quote.

All prices are in U.S. Dollars and do not include freight, duties or taxes for shipments to Alaska, Hawaii or Canada. Customer is responsible for all shipping/freight charges and/or fees to these locations. 2nd Day and Next Day shipments to Alaska & Hawaii will incur additional charges. Other surcharges may apply (i.e. residential delivery, lift-gate, ferry fees, inside delivery, limited access, call before delivery, call notification, etc.) GST and VAT is not included in pricing. Please provide email address when ordering for contact by the freight carrier.

MULTIPLE BLINDS ON ONE HEADRAIL We do not recommend multiple blinds on one headrail over 108”. Unless blinds over 108” are delivered via our delivery truck to your place of business, we will not warranty freight damage or repair/remake under our existing warranty. All costs associated with freight damage are the sole responsibility of the dealer. It is our recommendation that 2 or 3 individual blinds are ordered with one common valance in order to avoid possible freight damage.

FREIGHT DAMAGE (Must be reported within 10 days of receipt) Fed-Ex If you suspect freight damage, contact Customer Service immediately. The damaged merchandise will be returned to TimberBlindMetroShade for repair or replacement. Contact the Customer Service Department for further information. Reorders for replacement are the responsibility of the consignee. If you discover concealed damage, retain all packing materials and contact the Customer Service Department.

COMMON CARRIER All Shipments are FOB factory. If you suspect freight damage REFUSE the shipment. The merchandise will be returned to TimberBlindMetroShade for inspection. After inspection, a repair or replacement will be made. Contact the Customer Service Department for further information. Reorders for replacement are the responsibility of the consignee. If you discover concealed damage, retain all packing materials and contact the Customer Service Department immediately.
