RIM has been designing for the retail and restaurant industry for over 20 years. Our portfolio includes the intricate details of high-end boutique retail to the functional design of “big box” retail.

The restaurant experience is truly dependent upon the atmosphere and we design with this in mind. RIM has participated in designing for themed restaurants, cafe’s and national - brand dining.

RIM understands the dining and retail environment and how important the design is to the experience.

The customer is the ultimate judge of a good design. A shopping or dining experience is enjoyed continually as the customer returns again and again.

JL Tower

14-story office tower will feature a sweeping glass facade that terminates high above the top floor shielding the penthouse, becoming a sleek internally lit beacon on the midtown Anchorage skyline. This class A office building will provide 360-degree views of Anchorage and its surrounding landscape. The entire building embraces sustainable design technologies that are energy efficient and environmentally responsible, and work together to create a high performance work environment. It will be the first building certified in Anchorage by the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Green Building Rating System

Centerpoint Financial Center

Located in midtown Anchorage, the building features a large dramatic curved wall of glazing that will provide spectacular views from the interior while making a strong sculptural statement from the exterior. Complementary to the Arctic Slope Regional Corporation Headquarters Building adjacent to this structure, the contrast between exterior elements present an apearance of two buildings joined together.

The International and C Building will consist of four stories and approximately 97,000 square feet of rentable space. The building has been designed to have the flexibility to house single floor or multiple floor tenants. The 360 degree views, natural light, use of materials and efficiencies make this building attractive for any type of lease.

CITC Non Profit

A 4-story, 72,000 SF facility. The exterior architecture is an abstract interpretation of the birch tree; the dark tile exterior skin and irregularly spaced fenestrations emulate the tree’s random patterning. Entry points to the building are inset and transparent, with accentuated, arbitrarly spaced vertical mullions that mimic the birch trunks of a forest. The birch concept and environment of the corresponding geographic region also provide the design inspiration for the interior finish palette and the graphically-integrated cultural display and signage component.

STG Office Building

Headquartered in Anchorage, Alaska, STG incorporated is a heavy industry contractor offering construction services and managment to clients across the state of Alaska. STG Inc. focuses specifically on projects involving remote energy systems and owns the largest, most utilized lattice boom cranes in Alaska. In 2009, STG Inc. moved forward with their vision of building a new permanet 8,500 SF, two story building.
