WHAT TO DO NEXTThere are a number of ways in which you can leave a charitable gift. These could include a chosen amount, trust arrangements, shares, annuities, residuary bequests and gifts of items which we can turn into funds. Leaving a legacy is a very flexible way of making a gift to charity without the risk of leaving yourself or your family out of pocket.

You can get free and independent advice about making a will from organisations like Citizens Advice and Age Concern.

It is a good idea to use a solicitor, or have a solicitor check a will that you have drawn up, to ensure that it’s valid and that your wishes are carried out.

We can send you more information about our work and advise you on how your gift can make a difference.

Remembering The Rosemary Foundation in your will, will enable us to continue in this important field of care.

The Rosemary Foundation provides support and care for people with life threatening illnesses, who wish to remain at home as life draws to a close. A registered charity, we rely solely on donations.

WE PROVIDE

• A nurse to introduce the service and to implement a plan of care that expresses the wish of each patient

• Care and support that is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

• A team of nurses who visit regularly and are known to the patient.

• Emotional and counselling support available for patient and family that continues through to bereavement.

• A service that is entirely without charge to patient or the family.

GOOD WILLOur work could not continue without the support and generosity of the local community. If you choose to remember The Rosemary Foundation in your will, you can be sure your gift will make a real difference to local people. The running costs of the Foundation are low, as much of the administrative work is carried out by volunteers. Your gift will be used at the coal face of care.

PLEASE MAKE A LEGACY NOWYou can help secure our future by making or changing your will to leave a gift to The Rosemary Foundation.
