Students who confirm receipt of benefits at Single Stop are drawing down nearly $5,400, effectively doubling the maximum Pell award. And the value is even greater because this analysis does not include tax credits, a major driver of impact at all Single Stop sites, or social services such as legal advising and financial counseling.

Since 2012, Single Stop served more than 5,000 students at Delgado, helping them access benefits and services valued at over $7.7 million.

“Single Stop has made a tremendous difference. Seldom do people fail because of academics alone...It’s often the social and financial issues that students can’t overcome.”

2,360 Students have been screened for benefits with receipt valued at over $1.6 million.170 Students have received free Financial Counseling.

564 Students have received free Legal Services.2,673 Students filed taxes with over $4 million federal and state refunds and avoidance fees.
