  • At Hartland Consolidated Schools Preschool, we have a highly qualified staff of early childhood educators who have a passion for being in the classroom! We offer a variety of class times with two locations. Each of our classrooms are filled with hands-on learning experiences, sensory and dramatic play, and a variety of activities to foster your child’s development academically, socially, and emotionally. Our preschool teachers work closely with the Hartland kindergarten teachers and LESA support staff to ensure that your child is fully prepared for kindergarten.

The Hartland Consolidated Schools Preschool program offers two convenient locations:• The Hartland Childcare Center located on School Street in the Village of Hartland. • The Hartland Educational Support Service Center (HESSC) located on M59

All of our classrooms are equipped with interactive classroom technology to help tie in with Hartland School’s curriculum and approach to early elementary education.

Children should be developmentally prepared and independently toilet-trained. To be eligible for our 3 year old program this year, your child must be 3 before October 15. To be eligible for our 4 year old program this year, your child must be 4 before December 1.

LEGACY High School: Your LEGACY starts today. Working to develop a community of learners who are prepared to live, work and contribute to an ever-changing society and world.

HCS’ Alternative Education umbrella offers two options to students for completing a Hartland Consolidated Schools’ diploma. LEGACY High School is a traditional physical, brick and mortar school that has innovative programming. Established in 1982, the school continues, almost four decades later, to help students achieve the success they have not otherwise enjoyed in school while preparing for a successful post high school future.

LEGACY is housed throughout the halls of the Hartland Educational Support Services Center (HESSC) and enjoys the central location as students forge collaborative connections with our community building partners.

LEGACY boasts a fully accredited curriculum aligned with local, state and federal standards and benchmarks. Students have access to options for online, Advanced Placement, dual-enrollment, share time and internships with the school. It is the soft skills of job employability, substance abuse awareness, career planning and social emotional awareness, however, that enhances and bolsters the standard curricula. The school has on-site counseling, group support, academic tutoring and planning for successful futures.

Students that attend LEGACY care about their education and strive for successful futures. They are on a reduced-hour daily schedule, and time away from the classroom allows for greater involvement in career planning, work experience and community involvement/ volunteerism.

Need more information? Please call Principal, Nicole Conley at 810.626.2140.

Hartland Virtual Academy (HVA): Together, we can do VIRTUALLY anything! Twenty-first century learners whose successful futures are built by contributing, working and changing society interconnectedly.

HCS’ Alternative Education umbrella offers another option to students for complet-ing a Hartland Consolidated Schools’ diploma. Hartland Virtual Academy is a cyber learning opportunity with traditional roots in Hartland’s heritage of academic excel-lence. For a decade, the school has helped students achieve high school diplomas while pursuing amazing feats like national sports titles, political campaigning and movie roles.

HVA is located in the Hartland Educational Support Services Center (HESSC), and has various lab times open to meet the convenience and flexibility for every student. HVA pairs Michigan Virtual instructors with HVA teacher mentors for a network of online learner support that contributes to a high success ratio. Students have access to Advanced Placement, dual-enrollment, share time, internships, clubs and more with HVA.

Students that attend HVA care about their education and strive for successful futures. They are required to attend a computer lab once a week for mentor check-in and curriculum accountability.

Need more information? Please call Principal, Nicole Conley at 810.626.2140.

Please come and visit our center to see all the activity. Call the office at 810.626.2780 or e-mail [email protected].
