I am delighted to invite you to the ACA Qld 2019 National Conference being held at The Star Gold Coast from 31 May until 2 June 2019.

The 2019 conference theme is Early Education… it IS rocket science. I believe this theme acknowledges and elevates the hard work that early years professionals do to ensure that our youngest generation have the skills, resilience and confidence to take on the world and flourish whilst doing so.

The conference is a highlight of my working year and I know for a fact that this is true for a lot of early childhood educators, approved providers, nominated supervisors and even suppliers! I love catching up with old friends and meeting new ones. I love being in the same room as like-minded people who share the same passion for our sector. I am especially excited for this year’s conference; Maggie Dent is back, and our conference committee invited some of the most talented and knowledgeable speakers!

The 2019 conference program includes:

• Approved Providers panel discussion on Friday 31 May 2019

• Welcome Event held on the evening of Friday 31 May 2019

• Two-day conference held on Saturday 1 and Sunday 2 June 2019

• Gala Dinner held on the evening of Saturday 1 June 2019

• Trade exhibition hall open on Saturday 1 and Sunday 2 June 2019

The conference also includes workshops for kindergarten teachers and new early childhood educators.

The program was designed to ensure that you leave the conference inspired and motivated!

Our conference would not be complete without our one of a kind Gala Dinner and this year, we invite you to “A Gala Dinner that is Out of this World”. From Princess Leia and Gamora to Mars and the stars, we invite you to join us for a fun night filled with good food and even better company. I’m sure that you will once again showcase your creativity. We can’t wait to see what costumes you come up with!

Thank you to our Gold Sponsors, Guild Insurance and Child Care Super and our Silver Sponors, MTA and QikKids – their support, along with our other sponors, is instrumental in making our conference a reality. Make sure to visit them in the exhibition hall.

Attending the ACA Qld 2019 National Conference is your chance to not only learn new things but also have fun while doing it.

I hope to see you on the Gold Coast in June!

Majella Fitzsimmons, President

You’re invited to the ‘fun’ conference!
