There are 101 elemen- tary pupils went to this compe- tition, some of this pupils came from Taguig and Pasay City, this pupils are the judges of this challenge. Director Secretary Vil- leanueva, DepEd, and TESDA promotes this competition among the Filipino children to encourage the pupils to make healthy foods. In this competition, they should make a healthy food from a nutrition group this are the Go, Grow, Glow the winning recipe for this con- test is the Calalucay Tart. This contest aims to encourage some people to make a healthy food which is made of vegetables and fruits from the Gulayan sa Paaralan Program in public schools. Region 02 RSPC OPINION

EDITORIAL Good Idea!

Many students from public schools are not eating

healthy foods and even the private schools students, they

are not eating healthy foods. But how do we prevent this

not eating healthy food things in our lives?

Public School students, we now that many student

from public schools are many poor persons, actually oth-

er students can buy their needs and food properly. But

how are really poor persons that studying from public

schools? How are they surviving in their daily lives?

Poor persons are eating bit of food in lunch, breakfast,

and even their snacks, and badly they are not eating

snacks. And sometimes their parents do not have money

and do not have permanent jobs and badly even their

children are affected.

In the other side, private school students, otherwise

the word “private” they are rich people because the pri-

vate schools are having many payments. But sometimes

there are not all rich people theirs also poor people in the

private school. But then the rich people, who have every-

thing they want, they didn’t want to eat vegetables, how-

ever, they have a lot of money to buy meat and many un-

healthy foods. Do you think it will be a good idea?

And know, good news, the Department of Educa-

tion (DepEd) with the collaboration of the Technical Ed-

ucation and Skills Development Association (TESDA)

have made a great move they settled very nice program,

the theme of the program is “Get your Gulay On: Grand

Gulay Cook-Off Challenge” it is a very good idea to all

of us and it is following the pattern of go, glow, and

grow!

For about 101 pupils join the Gulayan Cook-Off

Challenge are every participant gave a very good perfor-

mance but one will be the winner and the winner have

the recipe of Calalungay Tart and it isavailable to eat and

to cook to all school restaurant all over the Philippines,

and the place held is the beautiful place of Taguig city.

Let’s all make a great change in our lives and one

of the great change is eat healthy foods and do not eat

unhealthy foods and let’s do it ‘cause it is a great idea!

group practice,inorder to win

and to get victory

that he/she waited

for a long time.

Even the

coach of the players

and teachers are very

worried about what

will happen.The

cause of worry of

many of the coaches

they practice incharged player

and the coach will give their

best to train and help to give

the very full potential of the

incharged player.Where would

be the chosen place of the

Palarong Pambansa 2015?

The result has come.It

would in Tagum City,Davao

del norte.The players and the

coaches smiled because the

chosen place is so beautiful.

We should do our best

nad give our full potential to

win and people now that it would

be great!

Region 02 RSPC FEATURE

Regional Schools Press Conference (RSPC) opened on January 8 in Tuguegarao

City.

The program started with the prayer, then the different divisions marched and

showed their own flags. Then Gilbert N. Tong said his welcome message to the different

divisions. Mrs. Lorna C. Guillermo, said that we need to focus in what we are doing to

qualify the National Schools Press Conference (NSPC) and to succeed in. That is why

the young journalists is doing their best and focus.

The Division of Quirino, Batanes, Santiago City, Nueva Vizcaya, Cauayan, Caga-

yan, Isabella City and Tuguegarao City showed their own beautiful yells. There are

about 3,000 participants, only 263 participants will go to the National Level.

The event was very successful because they have learned many things from the mes-

sages and speeches.

The host are tired but the participants learned many things about their speeches and

in writing.

RSPC 2015 Opened!

The city of Tagum in the province of Davao Del Norte will be the

host of the Palarong Pambansa 2015, the officials are preparing for that.

The Palarong Pambansa players of Region II are still training

because they want to win the game. The athletes from the different regions in the

country is competing, the elementary and secondary title in various sports disci-

pline. The announcement was made available to the media through Philippine

Sports Commission Chairman Richie Garcia on Tuesday, December 16, 2014.

The officials of Tagum City was very happy because the Palarong Pam-

bansa will be hosted by them.

The players of Palarong Pambansa is training with their couches. They are ready for the game. They

are also praying that they will win the game.

Everyone is ready to watch and know who is the chamion in palarong pambansa 2015

Region 02 RSPC SPORTS Green outplay Yellow, 9-13

Green team kicked the Yellow team in 2014 Palarong

Pambansa Baseball at Tagum City in Davao City on Decem-

ber 2014, 9-13, Green team make their best to won the game.

The Green team first to threw the ball and the yellow

team caught it, in the second threw the ball was hotbut the ball

go to the back in the 1st Inning.

The player no. 3 from Yellow team threw and the

Green team batted it for the 1st point in the 2nd Inning in the

second threw of Yellow team the ball was shot by player no. 1

from the Green team.

The ball was shot in the first threw of the Green team

in the 3rd Inning but in the second threw of Green team the

ball go back and the third threw the ball didn’t shot.

In the 4th Inning the ball was shot by player no. 3 of the

Yellow team in the third threw of the ball and the player from

the Yellow team not so happy in this inning because their our

losing.

The Green Team was happy in the fifth inning because

they had two home runs specially their coach.

In the sixth inning the first threw of the ball of Yellow

team the Green team didn’t shot but they shot he ball in the

second and fourth inning threw of Yellow Team.

The Green team have 1 home run for the seventh in-

ning and the coach of the Green Team was happy because he

know that they could won the 2014 Palarong Pambansa-

Baseball.

2015 Palarong Pambansa: Where will be? Trisha Mae M. Del Rosario

The city of Tagum City in Davao Del Norte will be the host of the

2015 ‘Palarong Pambansa also known Philippine National Game (PNG) ath-

letes from different regions of our country will compete for Elementary

and Secondary title, the announcement made to the media through Philip-

pine Sports Comission (PSC) Chairman Richie Garcia on December 16,

2014.

The different players from different regions of our country will start

training for the 2015 Palarong Pambansa.

The coaches and the families of the players are waiting for the play-

ers are waiting for the announcement when the Palarong Pambansa and

where.

The families are very supportive to their children and their children and their coaches was happy for

them because they made their best to go in 2015 Palarong Pambansa.

All of the players are hoping that they will win the game.
