EXECUTIVE SUMMARY This report reviews social media activity for MLA Realty’s Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn accounts in the month of July. Overall, steady increases in the number of followers across all platforms, finishing the month off with 1,071 Instagram followers, 67 Facebook fans, 131 Twitter followers, and 36 LinkedIn followers. Facebook and Instagram experienced a slight decrease in audience engagement compared to the previous month due to a low number of listings in July.

SOCIAL MEDIA APPENDIX AMPLIFICATION RATE The number of shares on average for each post. Depending on which networks you’re active on, you might want to amplification rate apart, focusing on:
• Instagram regrams • Twitter retweets • Facebook shares • Google+ shares • LinkedIn shares • Pinterest repins
AUDIENCE GROWTH RATE The rate at which a brand adds (or loses) audience members per channel, found by dividing new audience members by total audience members. BRAND AWARENESS The overall number of mentions of your brand online per period. CLICK-THROUGH RATE The rate at which your audience clicks on a link within a post on a given social network, found by dividing the number of clicks on a post by the number of impressions for the post. CPC Cost-per-click (for paid search or social advertising). ENGAGEMENT PER FAN/FOLLOWER Total engagement actions for one network divided by the number of fans (or followers) for that network. FANS/FOLLOWERS The total number of people in your various networks per period. MENTIONS Mentions are defined by the @handle being in the body of a user post. REACH The total combined amount of a brand’s audience, compounded by the friends of the audience and anyone in the greater community who is talking about or engaging with the brand. TOTAL IMPRESSIONS The number of people who could have seen a story about your page (reach) + the number of times (frequency) the post was shown.
