Dear Director Carino:
We are now in the process of accepting applications for Student
Financial Assistance Programs (StuFAPs) for Academic Year (AY)
2019-2020 for incoming freshmen who are candidates for graduation
or graduates of School Year 2018-2019 of Senior High Schools in
Region 2.
-sttii=APs is a CHED program that offers scholarships and
grant-in-aid modalities of financial support to qualified students
based on merit and socio-economic status. It is a program that
promotes access to quality education by providing financial
assistance to poor but deserving students.
We recognize the role of the Department of Education in our
partnership towards the development of the human capital of the
country. As one of our strongest partners in the pursuit of
providing access to education to the academically able but
marginalized sectors, may we request for your assistance for the
widest dissemination of our calf for applications for StuFAPs for A
Y 2019-2020.
The following are the documentary requirements for the StuFAPs
application:
1. High school report card for incoming freshmen students
eligible for college 2. For graduating senior high school students,
duly certified copy of grades for the first
semester grades in Grade 12 3. Proof of Income (any of the
following):
a. Photocopy of latest Income Tax Return (ITR) of Parents or
Guardian b. Certificate of Tax Exemption from the Bureau of
Internal Revenue (SIR) c. Case Study from Department of Social
Welfare and Development (DSWD) d. Affidavit of No Income e.
Certificate of lndigency from their Barangay
4. ·certificate of Good Moral Character from the fast school
attended
Please inform the interested students to completely fill out the
attached StuFAPs Form 1 (Application Form). They must submit the
same together with the photocopies of the abovementioned
documentary requirements personally or through courier to CHED
Regional Office 2, Carig Sur, Tuguegarao City, Cagayan or they may
send the scanned copies of the documents with the application form
through email at [email protected].
