Quicken Direct Connect And First NBC/Whitney Customers The following screen shots will walk you through the process of re-connecting accounts using Quicken and Direct Connect after conversion. Important Points: You must register and login to Whitney Online Banking before setting up Quicken. You must deactivate online services for your First NBC Bank accounts that have transitioned to Whitney Bank. You should then re-activate online services for your new Whitney accounts by selecting Whitney Bank Direct Connect from the list of available financial institutions Your new Quicken ID and password will correspond to your Login ID and password for Whitney Bank Online Banking From the home screen of Quicken, click on the former First NBC Bank account and select “Edit Account” from the menu.

Connect from the list of available financial institutions• Your new Quicken ID and password will correspond to your Login ID and password for Whitney Bank Online

Banking

From the home screen of Quicken, click on the former First NBC Bank account and select “Edit Account” from the menu.

In the “Account Details” screen click on the “Online Services” tab and the click “Deactivate”

Click “Yes.”

Quicken will connect and deactivate online services.

Click on the “General” tab and remove the Financial Institution and Account Number Fields. Click OK.

Now, click on the “Online Services” tab and then “Setup Now.”

Type and select “Whitney Bank Direct Connect.”

Quicken will connect to Whitney Bank.

Input your User ID and Password for Whitney Bank. Click “Connect” in the lower right-hand corner.

Quicken will connect to Whitney Bank and look for accounts.

STOP!!!!! Do not click the Next button just yet. If an account is already in the register you may link the account to an existing account in Quicken if you so desire. If you Add the account, you will have two accounts in the register and the old First NBC Bank account will be for viewing purposes only. It is your choice as to how you would like to handle this.

For linking, just select the account you would like to link and click “Next.”

Quicken will add or link the account appropriately.

Quicken will download balances and any new transactions on your Whitney account. Click “Finish.”
