NOTICE (No 07) 2018Short title

1. This notice may be cited as the Reopening of Temporarily Closed Road Notice (No 07) 2018.Reopening temporarily closed road [s.107 of the Act]

2. It is declared that the area of land formerly comprised in the Road Licence mentioned in the Schedule is reopened as road.

SCHEDULE

An area of about 85 ha described as Lot 1 on RL8087 being the road separating Lot 211 on NR6208 from Lots 268 and 269 on NR1918, Lots 267 and 266 on NR1918 and its extension northwesterly for a distance of about 40 metres, Lots 264, 263 and 262 on NR1920 and Lot 3 on RP740230. The road abutting the north-eastern boundary of Lot 283 on NR1920 and its continuation north-westerly, thence south-westerly to the northern bank of Shanty Creek, being the land contained within former Road Licence No. 9/8087. NOTICE OF MAKING THE ANIMALS LOCAL LAW 2017FOR THE CITY OF BRISBANE

Brisbane City Council has by resolution on 8 May 2018 made alocal law entitled the Animals Local Law 2017 (the Local Law).

The Local Law repeals the Animals Local Law 2003 and theAnimals Subordinate Local Law 2003.

The Local Law will commence on 1 July 2018.

Title1. This notice may be cited as the Logan City Council (Making

Commencement2. This notice commences on the date that it is published in

the Gazette.

Making of Local Laws3. Pursuant to the provisions of the Local Government Act 2009,

Logan City Council made Local Law No. 8 (Waste Management)2018 and Amending Local Law No. 1 (MiscellaneousLocal Laws) 2018 by resolution on 15 May 2018. The objectof Amending Local Law No. 1 (Miscellaneous Local Laws) 2018is to –

(a) amend Local Law No. 2 (Administration) 2010 to makereference to new Local Law No. 8 (Waste Management)2018;

Transport Operations (Marine Safety) Act 1994

NOTIFICATION OF SPEED LIMIT

I, Hal Morris, Chief Executive Officer, Gold Coast WaterwaysAuthority, pursuant to section 206AA of the Transport Operations(Marine Safety) Act 1994, approve the fixing of the speed limit forthe waters listed in Column 1 at the speed listed in Column 2 forthe ships listed in Column 3, as shown on Maps S8sp-52 andS8sp-53 prepared by Maritime Safety Queensland and held byGold Coast Waterways Authority at Gold Coast.

This Notification of Speed Limit repeals the Notification of SpeedLimit for Jacobs Well published on page 1246 of the QueenslandGovernment Gazette No. 59 dated 27 June 2008.
