2. It is declared that the area of land formerly comprised in the Road Licence mentioned in the Schedule is reopened as road.

An area of about 85 ha described as Lot 1 on RL8087 being the road separating Lot 211 on NR6208 from Lots 268 and 269 on NR1918, Lots 267 and 266 on NR1918 and its extension northwesterly for a distance of about 40 metres, Lots 264, 263 and 262 on NR1920 and Lot 3 on RP740230. The road abutting the north-eastern boundary of Lot 283 on NR1920 and its continuation north-westerly, thence south-westerly to the northern bank of Shanty Creek, being the land contained within former Road Licence No. 9/8087. Brisbane City Council has by resolution on 8 May 2018 made alocal law entitled the Animals Local Law 2017 (the Local Law).

The Local Law repeals the Animals Local Law 2003 and theAnimals Subordinate Local Law 2003.

The Local Law will commence on 1 July 2018.

the name and on behalf of Her Majesty, assented to

the undermentioned Bill passed by the Legislative

Assembly of Queensland in Parliament assembled,

viz—

A Bill for An Act to amend the Planning Act 2016, the Planning Regulation 2017, the

Vegetation Management Act 1999 and the

Water Act 2000 for particular purposes

Short title: Vegetation Management and Other Legislation Amendment Act 2018 – Act No. 7 of

2018

Commencement: Sections 6, 14, 16(11), 37

(other than to the extent it inserts section 144)

and 45 are taken to have commenced on

8 March 2018. Section 35 commences on a day

to be fixed by proclamation.
