OBJECTIONS TO PROPOSED ROAD CLOSURE NOTICE (No 20) 2016

Short title1. This notice may be cited as the Objections to Proposed Road

Closure Notice (No 20) 2016.Application for road closure [s.100 of the Act]

2. Applications have been made for the permanent and temporary closure of the roads mentioned in the Schedule.Objections

3.(1) An objection (in writing) to the proposed road closures mentioned in the Schedule may be lodged with the Executive Director,

the region in which the road is situated.(2) Latest day for lodgement of objections is 7 July 2016.(3) Any objections received may be viewed by other parties

interested in the proposed road closure under the provisions of the Right to Information Act 2009. If you lodge an objection, please include in your objection letter whether you would like to be consulted if this issue becomes the subject of an access request under the Right to Information Act 2009.Plans

4. Inspection of the plans of the proposed road closures may be made at-

Atherton, Cairns, Caboolture, Gold Coast, Maryborough, Toowoomba and Townsville; and

Regional, Moreton Bay Regional, Gold Coast City, Fraser

UNDER THE SUSTAINABLE PLANNING ACT 2009

A Ministerial designation has been madeI, Kate Jones MP, Minister for Education and Minister for Tourismand Major Events, give notice that under the Sustainable PlanningAct 2009 , Chapter 5, Part 2, I made a Ministerial designation ofland for community infrastructure.

Description of the land to which the designation appliesThe Ministerial designation applies to land located at 14 Stirrat Street,Calliope 4680.

The land is described as

• Lot 2 on SP136878 with an area of 6.322 hectares.

Type of proposed community infrastructure for which the landhas been designatedThe land has been designated for the Calliope State School.

This community infrastructure is described under the SustainablePlanning Regulations 2009 , schedule 2 as:

(4) community and cultural facilities, including facilities wherean education and care service under the Education and CareServices National Law (Queensland) is operated or a childcare service under the Child Care Act 2002 is conducted,community centres, meeting halls, galleries and libraries;

(6) educational facilities;

(15) storage and works depots and similar facilities, includingadministrative facilities associated with the provision ormaintenance of the community infrastructure mentioned inthis part; and

Further to the above, the designation includes: sportingfacilities and associated infrastructure, road, vehicle lay-byand car parking and including commercial activities thatsupport its Educational program.

Matters included as part of the designation under theSustainable Planning Act 2009 , Section 200The designation for community infrastructure is made subjectto the following requirements:
