At its meeting on 3 June 2014, Brisbane City Council adopted the Brisbane City Plan 2014 and the following planning scheme policies:

The purpose and general effect of planning scheme policies is to support the Brisbane City Plan 2014, which applies to the planningscheme area of the Brisbane City Council. Brisbane City Plan 2014 and the planning scheme policies will replace Brisbane City Plan 2000and the associated planning scheme policies.
Brisbane City Plan 2014 and the planning scheme policies will commence on and from 30 June 2014.
Brisbane City Plan 2014 and the planning scheme policies can be viewed by searching for ‘City Plan 2014’ at www.brisbane.qld.gov.auand will be available for inspection and purchase via Council Customer Service Centres or by telephoning Council on 3403 8888.

including 30 June 2015 then as Member of the Local Government Remuneration and
Discipline Tribunal on and from 1 July 2015 to and including 30 June 2018; and
(b) Colin Meng be appointed under the Local Government Act 2009 as Member of the
Local Government Remuneration and Discipline Tribunal on and from 1 July 2014 to and
including 30 June 2015 then as Chairperson of the Local Government Remuneration andDiscipline Tribunal on and from 1 July 2015 to and including 30 June 2018; and
(c) Michelle Morton be appointed under the Local Government Act 2009 as Member of the

NOTICE OF THE MAKING OF AMENDMENTS TO STATE PLANNING POLICY 2013
I, the Honourable Jeff Seeney MP, Deputy Premier and Minister for State Development,
Infrastructure and Planning hereby notify under section 64 of the Sustainable Planning Act 2009that draft amendments to the State Planning Policy December 2013 were made pursuant to
section 70 of the Act on 30 June 2014.
The State Planning Policy amendments will take effect on 1 July 2014. The amended State
Planning Policy will be cited as the State Planning Policy July 2014.
Copies of the State Planning Policy and information about the amendments are available for
inspection and collection, free of charge, from the Department of State Development, Infrastructure
and Planning:

I, Ian Duncan Stewart, Commissioner of the Queensland Police
Service, hereby nominate the holder for the time being of the office
of the Director, Legal Services within the Public Safety Business
Agency — whose office is located at Queensland Police
Headquarters, 200 Roma Street, Brisbane, Queensland — pursuant
to section 10.9 of the Police Service Administration Act 1990.
In accordance with the above section, any document that an Act
requires or authorises to be given to or served on the
Commissioner of the Queensland Police Service is taken to
have been so given or served if it is given to the holder for the
time being of the office nominated in this instrument.
The nomination of offices under section 10.9 of the Police
Service Administration Act 1990 , notified in the previous
Queensland Government Gazette is hereby cancelled.

PLANNING SCHEMEMINOR AMENDMENT PACKAGE 01/2014
Notice is given under the Sustainable Planning Act 2009 thatRedland City Council at its General Meeting held 25 June 2014resolved to adopt Minor Amendment Package 01/2014 as aminor amendment to the Redlands Planning Scheme.
The purpose and general effect of Minor AmendmentPackage 01/2014 is to simplify planning provisions, providegreater clarity, remove redundant or cumbersome planningprocesses and remove low risk activities from planning control.
This amendment to the Redlands Planning Scheme comes intoeffect on 4 July 2014.
The amendments can be viewed at Council’s Customer ServiceCentres and online at Council’s website www.redland.qld.gov.au.

It is notified that, pursuant to Section 319T(2)(1)(b) of theCorrective Services Act 2006 , a Victim Trust Fund has beenestablished in the name of Gregory Walter BAKER as a result ofa payment to him pursuant to the Personal Injuries ProceedingsAct 2002 . Victims of Gregory Walter BAKER may have a claimagainst the Victim Trust Fund and that claim may be payablefrom the Victim Trust Fund. Potential claimants have six monthsfrom 18/06/2014 to start a proceeding in a court to have aneligible victim claim against Gregory Walter BAKER.
Any victims of Gregory Walter BAKER who commence a claimagainst the offender and wish to make a claim against the VictimTrust Fund must notify the Public Trustee of the commencementof the claim and provide sufficient proof of the commencement ofthe claim to satisfy the Public Trustee. This notification must bemade to the Public Trustee within six months of theestablishment of the Victim Trust Fund, as detailed above.
It should be noted that pursuant to section 319S(2)(a) of theCorrective Services Act 2006 , a victim may have a potentialeligible victim claim whether or not the offender is prosecutedfor, or convicted, of an offence in relation to the conduct forwhich the victim is claiming.

I, Patrick J. Quirk, General Manager, Maritime Safety Queensland,pursuant to section 18A of the Transport Operations (Marine Safety)Act 1994 exempt the owners of the ships mentioned in the Schedulesubject to the conditions from so much of the application ofsection 62(2) of the Transport Operations (Marine Safety) Regulation2004 as would require the ship to be registered recreationally andsection 206A of the Transport Operation (Marine Safety) Act 1994.
SCHEDULE
All Jet Sprint Boats that are registered for events conducted byAustralian Formula Jet Sprint Association.
CONDITIONS
1. Prior to operation under the exemption the AustralianFormula Jet Sprint Association must advise the MaritimeSafety Queensland regional office of the intended licensedetails of participating masters and registration numbersof intended participating ships.
2. The ship must be operated by a master who holds at leasta current Queensland recreational marine driver or acurrent equivalent license issued under the law of anotherAustralian state.
3. Operations under the exemption must only be conductedon enclosed purpose built facilities that do not have aneffect on the normal operations of ships.
4. The ship must be operated in accordance with the AustralianFormula Jet Sprint Association rules and codes of practiceJanuary 2013 and the Australian Formula Jet Sprint AssociationEvent Promotions Guideline 2010 which includes at least:
• emergency procedures• records of vessels• records of masters and support emergency crew• crew briefings.
