1.Quality Management in Procurement and Storage

Quality Management can be used to guide purchasing and in&entory management acti&ities.

'or the main part it consists of releasing supply relationships source and recei&ing

inspections managing stocks during (uality inspections and (uality documents. 

 

 Acceptance Inspection The detailed inspection lot processing scenario e)plains inspection planning samplecreation printing of shop papers for inspectors recording of inspection results !characteristic &alues and defect data ! and it describes how appraisal costs are settled.

 

Quality Notifications as Complaints Against the Vendor  You see how a defect determined in (uality inspection is analy*ed and documented in a(uality noti"cation. The measures re(uired to correct the problem include a complaintagainst the &endor and the processing of returns.

 

Quality Control

Quality control includes &endor e&aluation (uality analysis in the QM Information +ystemand statistical process control using control charts.

 These processes show you how to inspect classify and monitor materials that are managedin batches.

 You send the &endor a written purchase order. The purchase order message contains QMnotes regarding technical deli&ery terms (uality assurance agreements and the obligationto include a (uality certi"cate with a deli&ery.

 

Displaying StocIn a second session you call up the stock o&er&iew so that you can continue to follow thede&elopment of the stock situation.

 

Posting the /oods )eceipt for the Purchase -rder 

#hen the deli&ery arri&es you post the goods receipt. The system generates an inspection

lot and determines the sample. ,uring the recei&ing inspection the goods ha&e the statusBin (uality inspectionB which means that it is restricted!use stock.

   Maing the +sage Decision You inspect the sample from the inspection lot. ;o defects are found and you acceptthe inspection lot. You post the inspection lot (uantity to unrestricted!use stock.

If you intend to continue with the acceptance inspection process do not makea usage decision.
