What is Quality?

Simply put: Quality is an adherence to a

standard.

• Adherence to low standards results in

low quality.

• Adherence to high standards results in

high quality.

The previous slide listed regulations that

Why is quality important?

As stated in the previous slide, most

customers require some quality standard

to be applied to the product or service

The higher the quality standard, the

higher cost of product or service.
