PUNCTUATION AND SPELLING
By: Salma & Jagga
THE APOSTROPHE
In the singular (just one) the apostrophe comes
before the ‘s’ :

In the plural (more than one) the apostrophe goes

Be careful, however, with plurals that do not end in
‘s’
men women children

CAPITAL LETTERS
These are used:
To begin sentences: They said they were leaving
For the first word in the speech: They said,
‘We’re leaving now.’
