Step 2 Using Performance graph R32S, find point A, using Viscosity and Discharge Pressure. Step 3 The diagonal dotted line from A, gives pumps performance at any flow rate, at these viscosity and pressure conditions. Step 4 Using capacity of 20 m3/hr, find point B. From this point, by projecting vertically upwards and downwards, the following can be found: C Pump speed : 900 RPM D Power required : 5.6 kW E Maximum pressure : 8 Bar F Maximum viscosity : 7 Poise (700 CPS) G NPSH required : 4.5 Metres Section D - Part 3 Issue No.: 3 Page 3.1 Issue Date : 1 July 2005
