Complete and submit Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to determine your eligibility or visit the Citrus College Financial Aid Office. Public Works includes construction, alteration, repair or improvement on public land that is executed at the cost of the state or any other local public agency. The Maintenance Superintendents Association (MSA) endorses the Citrus College Public Works Certificate of Achievement. Students who complete the Citrus College program can also transfer to the University of La Verne Bachelor of Science in Public Administration Program. Three of the Public Works Certificate of Achievement courses are available online through Distance Education, and courses are also offered at employers’ off- campus sites. The Public Works program is designed to prepare students who wish to seek entry level employment in the Public Works industry or qualify for a more responsible posi- tion within the field. The Citrus College Public Works program offers two 18-unit Certificates of Achievement. Associate DegreeFor an associate degree, you mustcomplete a minimum of 60 unitsincluding a minimum of 18 units inyour major, a minimum of 22 unitsof general education, a minimum of17 units of electives and satisfy thephysical education requirement.

Please note: Only courses numbered100-299 may apply toward the associate degree.
