Courses prepare you for certificates in the Toyota Technician Training and Education Network (T-TEN), Technician Education Cooperative (TEC) and/or High Performance Institute (HPI) programs. In-depth training with extensive hands- on experience prepares students for entry-level employment. If you are currently employed in the industry, our advanced-level courses can help you to sharpen your existing skills and build new skills to advance your career. In the classroom, students learn the theoretical aspects of automotive service, diagnosis, and repair. You then apply what you have learned in lab exercises and live work in the automotive lab. As a skilled technician, you may apply your skills and specialized knowledge in any of a number of career paths. You may work in a large dealership, at an independent garage, in a specialty shop, in fleet service, or even for a mass merchandiser. There are also opportunities to continue your educa- tion by transferring to a 4-year institu- tion specially selected to partner with Citrus College. College AdmissionAdmission to Citrus College is opento high school graduates and anyperson 18 years of age or over.

To enroll, submit an application foradmission online at:https://wingspan.citruscollege.edu

New students enrolled in five ormore units and planning to earn anassociate degree, a certificate ofachievement, or a skill award musttake an English and math skillsassessment. In addition, new students who plan to enroll inEnglish, mathematics or readingclasses must participate in the skillsassessment process.

Concurrent Enrollment for High School StudentsSome programs and classes areavailable to current junior and senior high school students.Interested students should contacttheir high school counselor or thecollege’s Admissions and RecordsOffice.

Associate DegreeFor an associate degree, a studentmust complete 60 degree applicableunits of work and fulfill specific general education requirements,including electives and physical education. A cumulative grade-pointaverage of 2.0 (“C”) or above isrequired.
