Multigreens adalah lampu yang efektif untukmemerangkap dan membunuh nyamuk, baikdi dalam maupun luar ruangan (indoor atauoutdoor). Dirancang aman bagi manusiadengan teknologi proses nano-fotokatalisis/komposit yang memanfaatkanenergi foton (cahaya) dan katalissemikonduktor, tidak seperti obat nyamuk lainberupa obat semprot, bakar, oles dan elektrikyang sangat berbahaya bagi kesehatan.

Coolbox ini dapat digunakanuntuk menyimpan bahan-bahanmaterial yang memerlukankondisi dingin, seperti makanan,minuman, vaksin, darah, ASI (airsusu ibu), dan lain sebagainya,disamping membantu para kuriratau pengendara yang inginmenyimpan makanan atauminuman agar tetap segar. Alattersebut bekerja berdasarkanprinsip Coolbox ini berbasis efektermoelektrik dari elemenPeltier, sehingga sama sekalitidak menggunakan fluida freonsebagai media pendinginnya,menjadikan coolbox ini sangatramah lingkungan. Temperaturdi dalam coolbox bisa mencapai10oC
SOLAR HEAT AIR CONDITIONER

Prinsip kerja dari alat pendingin tersebut adalah panas matahari digunakan untukmemanaskan air, kemudian diolah melalui beberapa tahapan hingga menghasilkan airbersuhu sekitar 7 derajat celcius. Air dingin tersebut kemudian disalurkan pipa kepada fancoil yang terpasang pada setiap ruangan sehingga mengurangi penggunaan listrik . Jikapada pendingin biasa komponen chiller selalu berisikan Freon, maka pada SWH ini digantidengan cairan air yang bercampur garam lithium bromida (LiBr), yang tidak perlu seringdiganti karena cukup dimasukkan sekali pada absorbsion chiller dan akan terus bekerjahingga kisaran 15 tahun kemudian.
SEMEN GEOPOLIMERBETON CEPAT KERING BERBAHAN LIMBAH
Kelebihan dari semen geopolimer adalah waktukeringnya yang sangat cepat singkat sehinggadalam waktu singkat beton dapat digunakan.Semen yang terbuat dari bahan baku abu terbangdan larutan natrium silikat ini bila digunakan untukmembeton jalan raya, maka dalam waktu 24 jam,jalan sudah mengeras sempurna, dan siapmenerima beban maksimal. Padahal, semenkonvensional baru bisa mencapai kekuatannyasetelah 28 hari.

Pemanfaatan energi baru terbarukan menjadi sebuah kewajibanuntuk segera diterapkan. Tingginya kebutuhan energi di Indonesiadan menurunnya produksi bahan bakar fosil, menjadi masalah yangharus segera dipecahkan. Salah satu solusi yang sedangdikembangkan oleh Prof. Dr. Ir. Adi Surjosatyo, M.Eng. adalahmenggunakan energi angin untuk dimanfaatkan sebagai sistempembangkit listrik menggunakan turbin angin.

ASPAL DARI BATUAN ASBUTON

Asbuton (AspalButon) merupakan aspal alam terbesar didunia yang depositnya terdapat di Pulau Buton ProvinsiSulawesi Tenggara. Berbeda dengan aspal minyak yangberasal dari penyulingan minyak bumi, asbuton berasaldari minyak bumi yang terdorong muncul kepermukaanmenyusup diantara batuan yang porous sehingga kadarAsbuton lebih didominasi oleh keberadaan mineralberupa CaCO3. Di antara kelebihan asbuton antara lainstabilitas campuran yang lebih tinggi, mampumeningkatkan umur konstruksi jalan serta lebih tahanterhadap perubahan suhu.

Portable vaccine carrier dikembangkan dengan menggunakan sistem thermoelectric heatpipe. Thermoelectric adalah suatu sistem pendingin yang mampu menghasilkanperbedaan suhu (panas dan dingin) di kedua sisinya sehingga tidak memerlukan energitambahan dari luar. Alat ini di desain dengan menggunakan batterei 12 volt untukmenjalan efek thermoelectric tersebut , dan bisa juga dengan memakai modul solar selsehingga sangat hemat energi. Untuk merakitnya hanya diperlukan 1,5 jam saja.
