GENERAL INFORMATIONCourse DescriptionThe Minnesota Breast Imaging Review Course is a postgraduate medical course that provides radiologists with up-to-date information on the diagnosis and treatment of breast disease. Didactic lectures include information on generally accepted practices, as well as new trends and emerging techniques in breast imaging. A collegial learning environment is provided during question/answer sessions and conference breaks where attendees and faculty have an opportunity to interact and share their knowledge.

Course Learning ObjectivesUpon conclusion of this program, participants should be able to:• Discuss the management of high risk lesions found at core needle biopsy• Describe the importance of breast arterial calcifications• Utilize breast imaging to predict response to neoadjuvant chemotherapy • Discuss the use of screening mammography in women ages 40-49• Review the changes in the 5th edition of BI-RADS

Attendance at this Mayo course does not indicate nor guarantee competence or proficiency in the performance of any procedures which may be discussed or taught in this course.

Intended AudienceThe Minnesota Breast Imaging Review Course is a postgraduate course designed to update the breast imaging radiologist on generally accepted imaging practices, as well as new trends and emerging techniques in breast imaging.

CreditMayo Clinic College of Medicine is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

Mayo Clinic College of Medicine designates this live activity for a maximum of 12 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Other Health Care ProfessionalsA certificate of attendance will be provided to other health care professionals for requesting credits in accordance with state nursing boards, specialty societies, or other professional associations.

Self-Assessment Modules (SAMs)Attendees will have an opportunity to participate in two self-assessment modules (SAMs) during the course. The self-assessment modules have been designed to meet the standards of the American Board of Radiology (ABR).

GENERAL INFORMATIONDate and LocationThe Minnesota Breast Imaging Review Course will be held September 26-27, 2015. Meeting headquarters will be located at the Radisson Blu Mall of America located in Bloomington, Minnesota. Radisson Blu is conveniently located in the center of the Twin Cities and is connected to the Mall of America. Guests will enjoy premier amenities including world–class shopping, dining, and entertainment.

Although it is not Department of Radiology CME policy to limit the number of registrants for a course, conference room facilities may necessitate closing of enrollment; therefore, early registration is advised. GENERAL INFORMATIONCancellation PolicyIf you cancel your participation in this course, your registration fee, less a $75 administrative fee, will be refunded when written notification is received by the Department of Radiology CME Office before September 12, 2015 ([email protected] or fax#: 507-266-3061). No refunds will be made on or after September 12, 2015. Canceled registrations are non-transferable.

Mayo Clinic Department of Radiology CME Office and/or Mayo School of CPD reserve the right to cancel or postpone any course due to unforeseen circumstances. In the unlikely event Mayo Clinic Department of Radiology CME Office and/or Mayo School of CPD must cancel or postpone this course, Mayo Clinic Department of Radiology CME Office will refund the registration fee, but is not responsible for any related costs, charges, or expenses to participants, including fees assessed by airline/travel/lodging agencies.

TravelThere are several transportation options available to and from the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport (MSP) which is located less than five miles from the Radisson Blu Mall of America. The hotel offers complimentary shuttle service on a first come first serve basis to and from the airport. Upon landing, guests must phone the Radisson Blu Mall of America at 952-881-5258 to request to be picked up and advise of their location: Terminal 1 or Terminal 2. Shuttle time periods are from 5:00 a.m.-9:00 p.m. on Fridays and 7:00 a.m.-9:00 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays. Reservations are also accepted by calling 952-881-5258.

The Metro Transit is also accessible from the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport. The Blue Line runs between the airport and the Mall of America. From the covered ramp at the hotel’s southern entrance to exquisite on-site dining, the Radisson Blu stands out for its full range of convenient amenities in an incredible location. The hotel’s skyway connection to Mall of America provides easy access to more than 500 shopping, dining and entertainment options.

Check-in time is 3:00 p.m. on the day of arrival and check-out time is 12:00 p.m. on the day of departure.

In order to receive the special rate, reservations must be made before the room block is filled or before September 4, 2015, whichever comes first. Reservations will be taken following this date based on space and rate availability. Please note that rooms are limited and early registration is strongly encouraged to avoid disappointment.

Lodging arrangements are the sole responsibility of the individual registrant.

Mayo Clinic Department of Radiology CME is not responsible for expenses incurred by an individual who is not confirmed and for whom space is not available at the meeting. Costs incurred by the registrant such as airline or hotel fees or penalties are the responsibility of the registrant.

ParkingValet parking is available based upon availability at time of arrival for $22 for overnight and $10 for event parking. Complimentary self-parking is also available, based on availability, so please inquire with hotel on the day you plan to arrive for the most up-to-date information. All parking availability is subject to change.

Complimentary self-parking is also available in the East and West Mall of America lots. If you are a registered hotel guest and are parking overnight in either of these lots, please bring the make and model of your vehicle as well as your license plate number to our front desk upon check-in. Hotel team will inform Mall team of your information. Mall of America’s team will tow cars that are parked overnight that have not been registered with the hotel as staying at the hotel on that same night. This program is subject to change.
