About PWM–AOP The PWM–AOP is an option for security officers who have developed the relevant skills, experience and knowledge over the years with their respective security agencies but have never had them formally recognized. This route enables these experienced candidates to achieve a Statement of Attainment (SOA) issued by the Singapore Workforce Development Agency (WDA) without having to undergo training if they are graded competent by POLWEL Approved Assessment Organisation (AAO) assessors. By 1 September 2016, companies seeking to renew their annual Security Agency Licence with the Police Licensing and Regulatory Department must meet the training and wage requirements outlined in the PWM for the Security Sector. To meet the PWM licensing requirement, agencies need to sure that: Security personnel at all levels attain the required Security WSQ Statements of Attainment (SOA)s All Security personnel are paid wages in line with the PWM

PWM–AOP Application ProcessSecurity agencies are required to apply for PWM–AOP on behalf of their security officers.

PWM–AOP Fees: Funding Available

FUNDING AVAILABLE FOR ASSESSMENT ONLY PATHWAYAOP

e2i will fund 90% of AOP fees and employers will have to bear the cost of the remaining 10% of the unfunded fees. Note that all figures reflected in the image above are not inclusive of GST. 7% GST charge is payable by employers.

Workers must be certified competent to receive funding

Workers must be enrolled before end April 2016 and complete the assessment before end July 2016 to qualify

Funding will take place on a reimbursement basis by POLWEL
