IUT Nancy-Charlemagne is located a 15-minute walk from Nancy train station and is served by two bus routes : line 3 (‘Médreville’ stop) and 6-16 (‘Charlemagne’ stop). You will also find a closed bicycle park and a student carpark on campus.

Two student halls of residence are situated close to the IUT : the Médreville residence (300 metres) and the Aristide Briand residence (700 metres).

The Médreville university cafeteria is 300 metres from the IUT.

The IUT is accessible for persons with reduced mobility thanks to its specific facilities (lifts, adapted toilets, access ramps…).

Events at IUT Nancy-Charlemagne- Crazy Charly Day : students from the IUT’s 5 departments get together for 24 hours to work on a common project to form the most dynamic of multi-skilled enterprises.

- The Charlemagne Cup : a sports tournament organised by students for their student project. Each year one sport is put in the spotlight.

As a part of the University of Lorraine, IUT Nancy-Charlemagne offers many courses in the fields of business, computing, information-communication, management and multimedia.

The IUT offers 8 «DUT» (Undergraduate Technological Degrees), 13 «Licences Professionnelles» (Professional Bachelor Degrees) and 2 «DU» (Undergraduate Degrees) leading directly to employment or continuation of studies.

Teaching is provided in small working groups enabling individual support and monitoring of students. Evaluation is through continuous assessment.Attendance is compulsory at all classes.Student projects (supervised by teachers) and a 10- to 12-week work placement, in France or abroad, provide the opportunity to discover the professional world.

During classes, you also benefit from the presence of externalspeakers coming directly from professional environments.

IUT Nancy-Charlemagne also offers work/study training courses (contract of apprenticeship or contract of professionalization).
