This course will offer training in those aspects of entrepreneurship required to complete the transit from project idea through to
realization, with specific focus on the development, design, and delivery aspects of bringing any product or service to market.

Course ObjectivesTo help you develop a roadmap for starting your own commercially viable business.
To facilitate discovery of “what makes you tick” in the sense of personal preferences for different types of work based on your per- sonality and motivation.
To encourage you to develop an entrepren- eurial mind-set through thinking “outside the box” and looking at opportunities from different perspectives.
To gain new confidence when presenting and conducting interviews in a new entrepreneurial venture, especially when working under pressure.
To appreciate how to create a dynamic and supportive, high-performance team by recognizing the difference between management and leadership.

Evaluation of a group presentation to pitch an idea for entrepreneurial start-up funding to the panel of course instructors.
Evaluation of an individually written business case for entrepreneurial start-up funding by the course organizer.

Course EvaluationBecause this is part of a special-offer course program, the grade you receive will simply indicate how well you (and your team) performed on the course assignments. This grade will not be taken into consideration when calculating your GPA.
