DOC02-CDC six Screen Adjustment - Issue A - Feb 2016
Introduction
This is a guide to the process of re-calibrating the screens to eliminate the “phantom touch” on the
CDC six.
“Phantom touch” is present when the large screen on the CDC six starts open functions, such as the
EQ window or bus window, and / or scrolling without the screen being touched. It tends to be hard to
stop to this movement by touching the screen.
If this “phantom touch” manifests itself on the console then the screen sensitivity needs to be
reduced to stop this happening. The process to adjust both the large and small screen is explained in
this document.

Conclusion
The screens are now de-sensitised around the edge and any phantom touch should be removed. If
any problems persist re-run the calibration program and reduce the edge compensation to 70%.
