2014Junior CricketsNEW name, same FUN for ALL Junior Crickets!

The Pro Coach Junior Crickets programme, (previously known as Kids Club), combines world class professional coaching alongside learning the FUNdamentals of cricket. The courses are designed for children aged 4 to 11 years old, perfect for anyone just starting out in cricket.

Each course will offer FUN games and activities used to instill the basics needed to not only enjoy but also excel in other sports beyond cricket.

What a fantastic summer 2014 has been, our summer courses were filled with over 1,000 exciting young cricketers enjoying the great game of cricket! Pro Coach aim to create a fun, safe, enjoyable environment for all ages and abilities to learn about cricket.

Since Pro Coach Cricket Academy became the official coaching partner of Yorkshire County Cricket Club eight years ago, it has seen us coach and interact with over 20,000 cricketers across Yorkshire. We have seen players develop in to great club, district and even county cricketers. 2013/14 saw Barney Gibson, Tom Kohler-Cadmore & Tom Knight all appear in first class cricket after attending our academies at junior level.

Alongside Mark Lawson, (Director of Coaching), 2013/14 has seen coaches with international coaching and playing experience such as Jason Gillespie, Tim Bresnan, Aaron Finch, Kane Williamson & Richard Pyrah to name a few, all delivering high quality sessions alongside our experienced ECB qualified team of level 2, 3 & 4 coaches, a large percentage of whom are current or ex professional cricketers.

Our Winter courses range from our ‘Junior Crickets’, starting at 4 years old, teaching the FUNdamentals of sport, through to our Elite Academies & Junior Professional Programme, (JPP), for juniors hoping to break into the professional game. With open age adults and girls only courses on offer, our aim is to help every cricketer make the most of their talent, enjoy the game, and be the best they can be.

The Under 12’s Elite Academy is for children aged 7 - 11.The Under 16’s Elite Academy is for children aged 12 - 16.A large percentage of Elite Academy attendees go on to be selected for District or Yorkshire Junior Cricket, with two boys this year signing professional contracts with First Class Counties.Here is what you can expect from the course:

UNDER 21’’ DEVELOPMENT ACADEMYHeld at Headingley Indoor Cricket Centre, this is a tough transitional period for players aged 16 to 21 and we have designed a course to help bridge the gap between junior and senior cricket. Players will be pushed to the limit to adapt their technique and temperament to senior cricket and help them succeed at every level.

The Pro Coach Yorkshire Cricket Development Academies, (formerly Premier Academies), are aimed at School, Club and District cricketers. They run for between 90 & 120 minutes each week and are structured by current and ex Yorkshire CCC players alongside Level 2, 3 and 4 coaches. The Under 12’s Development Academy is for children aged 7 - 11. The Under 16’s Development Academy is for children aged 12 - 16.Pro Coach Development Academies run across Yorkshire giving opportunities for all young cricketers to both develop their games and also impress Yorkshire talent scouts.Here is what you can expect from the course:

Girls Only....it’s a girl thing!

This year, once again at Headingley stadium, girls aged 7 to 16 have a course they can call their own. Led by female coaches with domestic county and international coaching experience, girls can start their winter training in the same way as the england professionals do. From facing the bowling machines to technical video analysis to aid progression, Head Coach (ex Yorkshire) Rochelle Petty alongside other professional coaches who have worked with hundreds of talented young female cricketers and will bring out the best in every young cricketer.

South Africa Training CampInternational training camps with Pro Coach Yorkshire

Pro Coach Yorkshire proudly offers you the once in a lifetime experience of a training camp in South Africa!

The camps will be based at the first class facility North-West Cricket Potchefstroom. The squad will be put through a unique training camp

culminating in three games against strong, local opposition.

North-West Cricket have hosted many international and domestic games as well as training camps for Australia, West indies, South Africa,

England Performance Squads and many more.

Pro Coach will be taking touring parties in October 2014 as well as Pre Season Camps in February & April 2015.
