1. Each lot is offered for direct sale as priced – this is not an auction so no bidding will take

place.

2. All items are priced and sold in US dollars.

3. All lots are sold on a first-come first-serve basis.

PTS6-01. Scott #6. Mint (OG, NH). Forgery of the 1855 5c issue. Good margins all around with fresh colour. Thin black line mark vertically downward from '4' of '1854' down to Isabella’s nose. Excellent copy of this dangerous forgery. Gooding #6F7.

PTS6-04. Scott #106 (Pair). Manila to Paris, France with stamps tied with possible Parrilla Cancels. Left stamp with surcharge doubled error. Double weight rate of 16c. Indistinct Manila CDS on reverse and Marseille 6 March 1889 receiving CDS on front. Unusual cover. Generally fine.

PTS6-05. Scott #105. 1888 Commercial Maritime cover from Manila to Prag, Austria on SMS Fasana ship envelope. Single weight rate of 8c. Stamp tied with indistinct Correos-Manila CDS. Numerous transit and destination circular date stamps on reverse side. Generally fine for this period and a very scarce usage. Great specialist cover.

PTS6-06. Scott #133 (x2). Two single stamps affixed to part of telegraph receipt. Surcharge Doubled on left stamp. Both with Telegraph Hole Punches. Small edge break on right stamp. Very scarce and this issue often missing from most collections. Scott Cat Value $750 as singles.

PTS6-07. Scott #229. Mint (NG, HR). Single stamp with plate number on bottom selvedge (1797). Fresh colour. Few minor blunt perfs on right noted for accuracy. Otherwise, a very nice looking stamp.

PTS6-11. Scott #438. Mint (OG, NH). Two plate blocks of six with bottom selvedge (129085 and 131566). Good colour and generally fine condition. Nice looking stamps.

1899 – 1c Regular Issue with Red Bandholtz OB

PTS6-12. Scott #213. Used. Straight right edge with small tiny, nearly invisible, spot in centre. Fresh colour and light 'Victoria' (HongKong) postal cancellation. Only one other recorded for this issue (mint) with lower elevation overprint. This is most likely the only used example of this very rare overprint. According to Coughlin’s catalog of Bandholtz OB overprints only one was produced. With PF Certificate of Authenticity (Stating: Used, red Bandholtz OB Overprint, Town Pmk. We are of the opinion that it is genuine, with a thin spot at center).

1898 – Postal Card Cavite Last Day Usage

PTS6-14. Spanish Tarjeta Postal (Postal Card) with 13 August 1898 Philippine Station – San Francisco cancel applied on the last day of use in Cavite before the Postal Station was transferred to Manila effective from 14 August 1898. Very nice souvenir card most probably created by one of the soldiers at the time. Folded and generally fine. Scarce. Baker #D-1. Goodale #A-1.

PTS6-24. AAMC-34. London-Orient First Flight cover from Manila to Slomague (Cabugao), Ilocos Sur. Very clean cover with LOF stamps all tied with Manila 16 November 1928 duplex cancels. Backstamped with Cabugao 16 November 1928 receiving circular date stamp. Very nice.

PTS6-25. AAMC-45. US Army Air Service Pioneer Flight cover on Pre-Stamped envelope from Fort Stotsenberg to Laoag, Ilocos Norte, then flown back to Fort Stotsenberg. Cancelled with 30 May 1931 Fort Stotsenberg, Pampanga. Backstamped with Vigan 30 May (12M) and Fort Stotsenberg 30 May (3PM) receiving circular date stamps. Very fine and a lovely looking cover. Stated to only be 23 letters flown.

2003 – Commercial Cover with Kennedy Mosden Stamps

PTS6-33. Registered Commercial cover from Manila to Auckland, New Zealand. Two 10c 1968 unissued Kennedy Mosden stamps applied on reverse and also tied with boxed registration cancels. Reverse stamps are philatelic in nature but still an interesting use of unissued stamps through mail system. Very few covers are known used with this issue. Interesting.
