100th Birthday Celebrations

We were delighted to host a party to celebrate Winnie Steele’s special day. Winnie was joined by family and many friends for the occasion.

A fabulous time was had by all.

Dignity in Care Day In February we took part in National Dignity in Care Day We had a visit from Rusty the donkey who was on his best behaviour when introduced to all our residents. To complete our day ‘Ranger Rob’ brought a variety of smaller animals in his mini zoo. Mother’s Day We treated all our ladies to champagne and choco-lates. They were thoroughly pampered.

St. George's Day Wyncourt was decorated with bunting to celebrate the day. The menus for the day were chosen by a resident. Chris and Ian entertained us with songs of times gone by. They ended their show with a rousing rendition of Land of Hope and Glory. There was much flag waving and singing.

Goodbye to Ann

In April we said goodbye to Ann Martin who retired after 17 years at Wyncourt. Thank you for all of your hard work and dedication over the years. We will miss you very much but wish you all the best for the future. Please come back and see us soon!
