We promote automotive safety through awareness, communication and cooperation among car enthusiast. We project a positive image of car enthusiast to the general public. We support non-profit organizations with fund raising activities and provide help to our community. OUR MEETINGS ARE HELD THE FIRST WEDNESDAY OF EVERY MONTH AT THE CROOK COUNTY FIRE DEPART- MENT PRINEVILLE AT 7PM May 2016 PRESIDENTS MESSAGE We are full bore into our 2016 Cruise to the Center of Oregon, Wanda has se- cured all our sponsors, Norm and Bob have completed the trophy procurement, Judy and John are obtaining General Vendors and Swap Meet Vendors, Mary-Ann has been handling registration, posters, and will be ordering T shirts shortly, and coordinating our show with the Truck and Tractor pulls. I have five volunteer judges that will be briefed and classes drawn. Many members have delivered posters to our sponsors and local business’s. We will schedule a day to put together the trophies, and stuff the goody bags. The days to do these two jobs usually falls during the week, due to all the car shows etc. happening during the summer weekends. All members that can are encouraged to help. Thursday Night Cruise will start up again with our first trip to Granny’s Rocket Express. Anyone with any suggestions for a destination for Thursday nights please let me know. I received a message from the Prineville Fire Dept. Asst. Chief, he indicate there were some complaints re. the condition the hall has been left, and parking by a fire hydrant used by the Fire Department. Vice President Lynn Arnett will ad- dress these items at the June meeting. We are very fortunate to have the use of the Fire Hall, and I encourage all members to respect the Fire Departments rules. PRESIDENTS MESSAGE

We are full bore into our 2016 Cruise to the Center of Oregon, Wanda has se-

Meeting Minutes May 4, 2016

Crook County Fire Station

President, Tom Tomlinson, called the meeting to order at 7 p.m. Minutes were approved as printed

in the newsletter. Treasurer, Judy Grell, gave the financial report for both general and show accounts.

No fines.

New Members and Guests: No guests or new members.

Announcements: Ladies who do Lunch will be at Gee’s on May 24 at 11:30. The road cleanup will

be May 21. It will be necessary to have a count of those who plan to have brunch afterward at Apple

Peddler. Thursday night cruises will resume this month with a cruise to Granny’s Rocket Express on

the 12th. Sunday brunch will be on May 15 at Madeline’s. Several shows and swap meets will be held

during May and June.

Reports: Lynn gave an update on plans for the opening ceremony at the Cruise to the Center of Ore-

gon.

The flag folding ceremony to honor Homer Lambert has been changed to Sunday, June 26 at 1 p.m.

This will be at Florence’s home.

Old Business: Sharon Arnett reported on the cruise to the Faith, Hope and Charity winery for June

5.

New Business: Adam Kraus made a motion to send $100 for the Golf for Kids sponsored by Kiwa-

nis. Lynn seconded the motion. Motion approved.

John Martin will be taking orders for plaques. Fly Away Balloon people will be at Stryker Park on July

2. They would like several classics or rods to display.

Dawn Haney will head up registration for the Crooked River Round up Parade to be held on June 25.

Mary Ann will be taking orders for cruise t-shirts. They will be available at the July meeting and must

be paid for at that time.

New tires have been purchased for the club trailer.

Other: Wanda Frisby won $15 in the 50/50 raffle drawing.

Meeting adjourned at 7:56 p.m.

T-Shirts are $15 each for adult sizes S—XXL; larger sizes and Tall shirts can be or-

dered for additional cost. Call for pricing.

All shirts must be ordered by JUNE 7 and will be available at our Monthly

meeting on July 6th at the Fairgrounds. Money will be colledted when the

shirts are delivered. Checks made payable to Crook County Rodders.
