PRESIDENTS MESSAGE
We are full bore into our 2016 Cruise to the Center of Oregon, Wanda has se-
cured all our sponsors, Norm and Bob have completed the trophy procurement,
Judy and John are obtaining General Vendors and Swap Meet Vendors, Mary-Ann
has been handling registration, posters, and will be ordering T shirts shortly, and
coordinating our show with the Truck and Tractor pulls. I have five volunteer
judges that will be briefed and classes drawn. Many members have delivered
posters to our sponsors and local business’s.
We will schedule a day to put together the trophies, and stuff the goody bags.
The days to do these two jobs usually falls during the week, due to all the car
shows etc. happening during the summer weekends. All members that can are
encouraged to help.
Thursday Night Cruise will start up again with our first trip to Granny’s Rocket
Express. Anyone with any suggestions for a destination for Thursday nights
please let me know.
I received a message from the Prineville Fire Dept. Asst. Chief, he indicate there
were some complaints re. the condition the hall has been left, and parking by a
fire hydrant used by the Fire Department. Vice President Lynn Arnett will ad-
dress these items at the June meeting. We are very fortunate to have the use of
the Fire Hall, and I encourage all members to respect the Fire Departments
rules.
