It’s March, and we have begun planning for our biggest FUND-RAISER of the year—our Spring Tea. There are plenty of opportunities for you to help: you and a FRIEND could host a table or make sandwiches or scones. See Barbara Wright to sign up for one (or more) of these jobs. You and a FRIEND could gather donations to put in our raffle baskets. Tell Becky Williams if you can help with this job. Janice Dominguez will coordinate putting the raffle baskets together. It takes all of us to make this giant event a success!
We have an Easy-Peasy FUND-
RAISER on March 26th at Fin-bar’s. Look for the flyer in this Bulletin. Finbar’s will donate 20% of your food pur-chase that day—except happy hour and take-out. Bring a friend, or give a flyer to neigh-bors, and enjoy a delicious and FUN lunch or dinner.
March is National Noodle Month as well as National Sauce Month. We could do-nate a spaghetti and sauce din-ner to We Care.

Snow Flower and the Secret Fan by Lisa See
Snow Flower and the Secret Fan takes place in China during the
1800s. Lily is the main character and first-person narrator of her
life story. As the novel opens, she is eighty years old, reflecting
about a fan that she received from her friend Snow Flower many
years ago.
Visit the Sherman Gardens for a delightful adventure.
Meet at the Pavilions lot at 10:00 a.m.
Tour at 11:00, then lunch after the tour, at Sherman’s.
The gardens are set among patios and a conservatory linked
together by wide brick wall ways, beds blooming with seasonal
flowers and decorative tiled fountains.
What a lovely way to spend an afternoon of gardens and lunch.

is a nonprofit organization located
in San Clemente, California that pro-
vides cultural programs for people of
all ages.[1] The organization was
founded in 2002 by a charter of the
City of San Clemente and is locat-
ed at the historic home of Ole
Hanson, who co-founded the City
of San Clemente. Casa Romantica
is listed on the National Register of
Historic Places listings in Orange
County, California, on December
27, 1991.”
