Stepping Up: A Journey Through the Psalms of Ascent by: Beth Moore

An in-depth women’s video Bible study of Psalms 120-134. Traveling pilgrims sang these psalms both on the way to the great festivals of the LORD and as key elements of the worship at those festivals. Just as a song or poem can express feelings of fear, doubt, hope, and joy, these 15 psalms model how we can voice our own petitions and praises to our God, who is always available and ready to hear us.

Godly Principles and Pictures from The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe by: C.S. Lewis

If you didn’t read this book as a child, it is never too late to catch up on a great read and if you did, you will surely want to read it again. C.S. Lewis and J.R.R. Tolkien debated whether this work was an allegory or not, but it definitely and purposefully has pictures of Gospel truth throughout and images of Christ that will capture your imagination. Come join us for the Life University version of book club and be refreshed with a new vision of the Savior.

Life Lessons: Book of Ephesians: Where You Belong by: Max Lucado

In the book of Ephesians, Paul reminds us that Jesus longs for the day he will be united with the church-his bride, in all her beauty. Paul’s letter celebrates the beauty of the church. Ephesians gives us wonderful examples and basic overviews of a Christian life. Paul shows us how to walk worthy of Christ as we live our life for God. Paul’s focus on the beauty of the church reminds us that through salvation we become a part of God’s family: a place where we can experience true belonging.

No Other gods: Confronting Our Modern Day Idols by: Kelly Minter Our lives revolve around our deepest needs and greatest treasures. Most of our desires are healthy. Yet these longings can become passions we not only pursue, but worship. And while idol worship may seem like ancient history, we still face the modern-day equivalent , as natural needs slowly consume our hearts and minds, competing with God’s rightful place in our lives. So discover the freedom in surrender. The healing in worship. And the joy found in exchanging everyday gods for the one true God.

M ercifull M eals Mercifull Meals is an outreach to individuals and families not attending Bible Center. Our goal is to show God’s love to those going through difficult times that do not have a church family. If you know someone who is experiencing a loss or is going through a tough time and you think they can be blessed by receiving a meal, please contact us.

This is an outreach to those who are new to our community. A delivery of homemade baked goods and information about the local area and our church is available to new neighbors upon your request.
