I am graduated in Architecture at the

European University of Madrid (UEM) since September

2012. Along with this I received additional training

throughout my student years at the Institute of

Advanced Architecture of Catalonia (IAAC). Besides, I

have experience collaborating in the development of

direct orders and in public competitions. I have also had

the opportunity to work in architectural festivals such as

the EME3 of Barcelona or the Architecture Biennale of

Venice.

I am a dynamic and ambitious architect

with the necessary academic preparation and abilities to

absorb new information, plus the ability to invent and

develop solutions, strategies and concepts and also to

communicate them clearly and effectively. As a

professional I am always ready to advance my creative

talent and improve my skills learning from the people

around me with an open mind perspective.

Estoy graduado en Arquitectura en la

Universidad Europea de Madrid (UEM) desde

septiembre de 2012. Junto a ello he recibido formación

complementaria a lo largo de mis años de estudiante en

el Instituto Avanzado de Arquitectura de Cataluña

(IAAC). Ademas cuento con experiencia colaborando

tanto en el desarrollo de encargos directos como en

concursos públicos. También he tenido la oportunidad

de colaborar en festivales de arquitectura como son el

EME3 de Barcelona o la Bienal de Arquitectura de

Venecia.

Soy una persona dinámica y ambiciosa

con la suficiente preparación académica y las

habilidades para absorber nueva información, ademas

de la capacidad de inventar y desarrollar soluciones,

comunicar estrategias y conceptos de forma clara y

eficaz. Como profesional siempre estoy dispuesto a

avanzar en mi ingenio creativo y mejorar mis

conocimientos técnicos.

E SMBASSY IN EOUL _E SMBAJADA EN EÚL

Mediante este proyecto situado en Seúl lo que se

pretende es generar un espacio de encuentro entre las

costumbres, cultura y productos españoles con el pueblo

coreano. El proyecto busca una posición estratégica

dentro de la ciudad de Seúl generando un espacio de

reunión mediante una plaza pública. A su vez la

edificación se alinea con las vías rodadas eliminando el

espacio de acera entre la edificación y la calzada pero

propiciandolo por la plaza y el propio interior del

edificio. El proyecto genera unos espacios interiores

continuos con una iluminación natural difusa y

constante que pretenden dar a conocer los distintos

programas a los usuarios mediante relaciones

diagonales entre los mismo.

This project is located in Seoul, the aim is to create a

meeting place to exchange the customs, culture and

Spanish products with the Korean people. The project

seeks a strategic position within the city of Seoul

creating a meeting space with a public square. In turn

the building is aligned with the road eliminating

sidewalk space between the building and the road but

making it possible by the square and the inside of the

building through a place that avoids the high traffic and

pollution of the vehicles. The project generates

continuous interior spaces with natural diffuse and

constant light aim to provide visual ralations to users

through diagonal relationships between the spaces.

Este proyecto se desarrolla en la ciudad de San

Sebastián, más concretamente en la playa de la

Zurriola. El objetivo del proyecto es generar un espacio

de tratamiento termal que sirva tanto a los ciudadanos

del lugar como a posibles visitantes. La implantación se

realiza mediante un bloque protector que contiene todo

el programa administrativo y de hospedaje y sirve de

barrera con el mar y de protección frente a los vientos

predominantes. A su vez se genera una disposición

aterrazada orientada a sur para permitir los distintos

tratamientos termales a la vez que se potencian las

relaciones entre el interior, la cuidad y la montaña.

This project is located in the city of San Sebastian, more

specifically in the Zurriola beach. The project's

objective is to generate a thermal treatment center that

serves both, local citizens and potential visitors. The

implementation is done by a protective block containing

all administrative and hosting program and serves as a

barrier to the sea and protection from prevailing winds.

In turn generates a terraced arrangement south oriented

to allow the various thermal treatments while it enhance

the relations between the interior, the city and the

mountain.

I PNFORMATION AVILION _P IABELLÓN NFORMATIVO.

Este proyecto surge de la necesidad de construir un

pabellón temporal en el que informar sobre las

actividades que se realizaran a lo largo del año en la

ciudad de San Sebastián. Para ello se decide generar un

proyecto que dialogue con una de las constantes de la

ciudad, el viento. De este modo la conformación del

proyecto se ha realizado mediante un estudio de las

direcciones predominantes del viento mutando las

mismas hasta conseguir el negativo del viento en

nuestro pabellón. Todo el pabellón esta realizado en

plástico mediante paneles triangulares que

parametrizan la forma curva del mismo. Se dispone un

espacio de galería que circula entre dos pieles y un

patio central de exposiciones protegido del viento.

This project arose from the need to construct a

temporary pavilion to give information about the

activities that are going to be done during the year in the

city of San Sebastian. I decided to build a project that

speaks to one of the constants of the city, the wind. In

this way the formation of the project was carried out

through a study of prevailing wind directions mutating

them to get the negative wind shape in our pavilion. The

entire pavilion is made of plastic with triangular panels

that parameterized the curve form of it. There is a

gallery space that runs between two skins and a central

courtyard protected from wind to allow an exhibition

space.

A BTHLETIC UILDING _E DDIFICIO EPORTIVO

Con este proyecto se pretende dar solución a una

carencia de equipamiento deportivo en las cercanías de

la Plaza Cristo Rey de Madrid. Para ello se propone un

edificio deportivo con desarrollo en altura que permita

la superposición de espacios deportivo. De este modo el

volumen del edificio se estructura mediante cuatro

grandes núcleos servidores que contienen tanto las

circulaciones del edificio como los espacios de

vestuarios y servicios. Entre esos cuatro bloques rígidos

se sitúa el espacio deportivo contenido en grandes cajas

de cristal al exterior que salvan las grandes luces

necesarias mediante cerchas habitables que contienen

desde los espacios administrativos hasta sala se

esgrima.

This project aims to solve a lack of sports equipment in

the vicinity of the Plaza Cristo Rey in Madrid. We

propose a sports building developed in height allowing

overlapping sports spaces. Thus the volume of the

building is structured using four serving cores

containing the circulations of the building and spaces as

changing rooms and toilets. Among these four rigid

blocks it is located the sportive space content in large

glass spaces. To solve the big structural requirement in

the sportive space we use trusses with high effective

depth that containing habitable spaces like

administrative spaces or a fencing hall.

S D HOLAR ECATHLON OUSE _V S DIVIENDA OLAR ECATHLON.

En esta propuesta se pretendia generar una edificación

que pueda captar la energia solar en toda su superficie

a lo largo de todo el dia. Para ello se decidio conformar

el edificio con una forma de semi esfera que permitiera

seguir el recorrido del sol. La piel exterior se diseño

mediante un despiece con cuatro caras, dos de panel

ONYX captador fotovoltaico y que permite pasar la luz.

Otra de VIDRESIF, vidrio de alto aislamiento termico.

Y finalmente un panel de SABER, un material auto

activable que permite la regulación de ventilación y

humedad. Ademas de esta capa exterior la vivienda

tiene una segunda piel interior de sacos de parafina que

permiten un mayor aislamiento termico y un acabado

blando al interior.

Sustainable Housing Proposal for Solar Decathlon

Europe 2012 festival selected by the European

University of Madrid. This proposal is intended to

generate a building that can capture solar energy over its

entire surface along all day. It was decided to form the

building with a semi sphere shaped to retrace the path of

the sun. The outer skin was designed by cutting four

sides, two of ONYX panel photovoltaic sensor and

allowing light to pass through. Another VIDRESIF,

high heat insulation glass. Finally a panel of SABER,

auto activatable material that allows regulation of

ventilation and moisture. Besides this outer housing has

a second inner skin made of paraffin bags that allow for

greater thermal insulation and a soft finish to the

interior.

Proyecto para un centro de talasoterapia y tratamientos

corporales en el País Vasco. El proyecto surge de la

idea de generar un recorrido continuo de tratamientos.

Para ello se genera un recorrido lineal mediante dos

espirales en rampa que recorren todo el edificio

viajando desde los espacios inferiores de tratamientos

húmedos a los superiores de tratamiento seco. Las dos

espirales generan unos patios interiores entorno a los

cuales se generan todos los programas. A su vez la

imagen exterior del edificio contrasta con la interior, al

exterior se presenta como un edificio hermético y

cerrado mientras que al interior es un edificio abierto y

bien iluminado.

Project for a thalassotherapy center and body treatments

in the Basque Country. The project arises from the idea

of creating a continuous path of treatment. This will

generate a linear path through two spiral ramp adorning

the building traveling from the lower parts of the wet

treatments to the upper part of dry treatment. The two

coils generate some courtyards around which all

programs are generated. The exterior image of the

building contrasts with the interior, the exterior is

presented as a closed airtight building while inside a

building is open and well lit.

HOTEL FOR CHILDREN _H P NOTEL ARA IÑOS

Con este proyecto en la ciudad de Gibraltar se pretende

dar la oportunidad a los padres que viajan con

frecuencia por negocios de realizar estos viajes con sus

hijos. De este modo se plantea un hotel para niños, este

hotel no solo facilita un lugar en el que los padres

puedan dejar a sus hijos sino que tambien un espacio en

el que puedan hacer nuevos amigos. El hotel se

desarrolla de forma lineal siendo un recorrido desde la

zona de acceso más pública a la de descanso más

privada. La materialidad del edificio se realiza

mediante costillas de madera recubiertas por un

acabado plástico aplicado en obra.

With this project in the town of Gibraltar is intended to

provide an opportunity for parents who travel frequently

for business to make these trips with their children. Thus

arises a hotel for children, this hotel not only provides a

place where parents can leave their children, it's also a

space where they can make new friends. The hotel is

developed in a linear way from an area of public access

to the most private area the rest space. The materiality

of the building is made by wooden ribs covered with a

plastic finish applied on site.

Una universidad culinaria centra todo su

funcionamiento entorno a la recepción, procesado y

distribución de la comida con la que se experimenta.

Para ello este proyecto situado en la Bahía de Gibraltar

centra sus esfuerzos en hacer de ese proceso una

experiencia tanto para el alumno como para el

profesorado y clientes. El edificio se estructura en

altura suponiendo una superposición de niveles en

altura que van representando tanto el tipo de comida

como su precio. De este modo los alumnos mas

experimentados irán subiendo niveles en el edificio. Las

planta se estructuran mediante un espacio central de

servicio que contiene las cocinas, almacenes, aseos,

montacargas y ascensores. Rodeando este espacio se

encuentra el espacio destinado a los clientes. Este

espacio se encuentra abrazado por las circulaciones

verticales del edificio las cuales se encorsetan entre dos

bandas estructurales de crecimiento curvo pero opuesto

para contra restar sus esfuerzos.

A culinary college focuses all its operations around the

reception, processing and distribution of food that is

experienced. To do this, the project in the Bay of

Gibraltar is focusing its efforts on making the process an

experience for both the student, the teacher and

customers. The building is structured in height assuming

a superposition of levels ranging in height representing

the type of food and price. Thus more experienced

students will be raising levels in the building. The plan

is structured by a central service space containing the

kitchen, storerooms, toilets, lifts and elevators.

Surrounding this space is the space for customers. This

space is embraced by the vertical circulation of the

building which is contained between two curved

structural bands growth but opposite to subtract their

efforts.

S HTUDENT OUSING _V P EIVIENDAS ARA STUDIANTES

La realización de estas viviendas surge de la necesidad

junto a la universidad de Zaragoza de espacios

residenciales para los alumnos que se desplazan desde

otras ciudades para estudiar allí. De este modo se

plantean viviendas pasantes de dos habitaciones que

siempre estén en contacto con el exterior. A su vez estas

viviendas se estructuran en pastillas de cuatro viviendas

que comparten un espacio de acceso y de esparcimiento

que sirve como salón común y lugar de encuentro entre

los residentes. Los bloque se encuentran alineados en el

eje este-oeste teniendo a cara sur grandes ventanales

que permiten la entrada de iluminación natural a toda

las viviendas. El complejo se estructura en 7 bloques

lineales que generan distintos espacios de encuentro y

esparcimiento entre ellos.

The realization of these homes comes from the need by

the University of Zaragoza of residential spaces for

students moving from other cities to study there. Thus

arise two bedroom homes that are always in contact

with the outside. In turn these homes are divided into

four houses pills that share an access and recreation

space that serves as lounge and meeting place for

residents. The block is aligned in the east-west having

large windows to south that let in natural light

throughout the house. The complex is divided into seven

linear blocks generating different recreation and meeting

spaces between them.

Este proyecto surge de un concurso público para dar

una solución a un espacio comercial que en la

actualidad no se podía llevar acabo debido al elevado

coste de hacer un gran centro comercial y a la falta de

inversores. Por ello la respuesta a este concurso fue la

creación de un espacio de oportunidad que con una

inversión mínima sirviera de soporte para que

posteriormente fuera produciendose en el mismo un

crecimiento natural de densificación tal y como ocurre

en las ciudades tradicionales europeas. Para ello se

proyectan unas pastillas longitudinales a modo de

calles que pueden ir construyendose por tramos. De este

modo, cada vez que aparece un nuevo inversor, el

proyecto va creciendo en extensión. Por otro lado

conforme el inversor ve aumentada la demanda de los

productos que vende en sus espacios, se produce un

crecimiento en altura mediante sistemas prefabricados

que no necesitan de obra ni largos periodos de montaje.

This project arose from a public competition to provide

a solution to a commercial space that currently could not

be carried out due to the high cost of doing a big

shopping center and the lack of investors. So the

response to this contest was to create a space of

opportunity with minimal investment support that later

could grow in the same natural growth densification as

occurs in traditional European cities. With a linear pills

streets mode that can be built in different periods. Thus,

each time that a new investor appears, the project grows

in size. Furthermore as the demand of the products the

inverter is offering increases and its necessary more

space, there is a height growth possibility using

prefabricated systems that do not require long periods of

work or mounting. This project achieved an honorable

mention from the jury.

En el festival Eme3 Barcelona nos dedicamos a la

generación de un mapa interactivo en el que aunar la

identidad de todas las personas que visitaban el festival

con los materiales, actividades y percepciones que se

llevaban de su visita al festival. Todo el que llegaba a

visitar el festival se encontraba con nuestro mapa al

llegar, en el se le explicaban todas las actividades que

podía hacer y visitar dentro de la exposición. A su vez,

cuando terminaba de ver la exposición los visitantes

cogían una etiqueta, un alfiler y un hilo y dejaban

registrado en nuestro mapa sus experiencias con el

festival. Gracias a ello al final del festival se pudo

recoger un registro real del éxito de los stands y lo que

demandaba el público para futuras ediciones.

In Eme3 Barcelona festival we were dedicated to

generate an interactive map where you combine the

identity of all persons who visited the festival with

materials, activities and perceptions led to his visit to the

festival. Everyone who came to visit the festival find our

map at the entry, we explained in it all the activities that

were possible to do and visit in the exhibition. In turn,

when finished viewing the exhibition visitors caught a

label, a needle and thread and left registered in our map

their experiences with the festival. At the end of the

festival we were able to pick up a real record of success

in the stands and what the public demanded for future

editions.

V A BENICE RCHITECTURE IENNALE _B A VIENAL DE RQUITECTURA DE ENECIA

Participación en la Bienal de Venecia 2012 en la

exposición “Spain Mon Amour” bajo la supervisión de

Luis Fernández-Galiano. En esta exposición se

realizaba una crítica a la situación actual de los

arquitectos en España. Para ello estudiantes de

arquitectura hacíamos la función de estatuas vivientes

para explicar los proyectos de cinco grandes estudios

de arquitectura españoles, Francisco Mangado,

Mansilla + Tuñón, Nieto Sobejano, Paredes Pedrosa y

RCR Arquitectes. De este modo mostrábamos como en

los arquitectos españoles tienen un gran potencial que

por culpa de la crisis económica no podrán desarrollar

dentro del territorio español.

Participation in the Venice Biennale 2012 in the

exhibition "Spain Mon Amour" under the supervision of

Luis Fernandez-Galiano. This exhibition had the

intention to made a critique of the current state of the

architects in Spain. Architecture students did the role of

living statues to explain projects from five of major

architectural Spanish firms, Francisco Mangado,

Mansilla + Tunon, Nieto Sobejano, Paredes Pedrosa and

RCR Architects. Thus we showed that Spanish

architects have great potential that due to the economic

crisis wont be able to be developed within Spanish

territory.

Muestra del resultado obtenido en el Taller de

Arquitectura Avanzada I del Instituto de Arquitectura

Avanzada de Cataluña (IAAC). El objetivo del taller era

la realización de un prototipo de falso techo mediante

herramientas de parametrización tridimensional y la

herramienta informática Rhinoceros. Como trabajo

posterior al diseño y mediante la utilización de

maquinas de corte láser, se procedió a la fabricación

real de los prototipos. El falso techo que realice

pretendía responder tanto a la necesidad estética, como

a contener instalaciones lumínicas y sonoras en su

interior. A su vez permitía que los sistemas de

ventilación quedaran totalmente ocultos gracias a la

permeabilidad total del mismo.

Display of the result under the first Advanced

Architecture Master of the Institute of Advanced

Architecture of Catalonia (IAAC). The objective of the

workshop was the realization of a prototype ceiling by

tridimensional parameterization tools and Rhinoceros

software tool. As the subsequent work from the design

and using laser cutting machines, we proceeded to the

actual manufacturing of the prototypes. The false ceiling

was made to answer the aesthetic need, and to contain

light and sound installations inside. In turn allowed

ventilation systems to be completely hidden through the

same overall permeability.

Muestra del resultado obtenido en el Taller de

Arquitectura Avanzada II del Instituto de Arquitectura

Avanzada de Cataluña (IAAC). El objetivo del taller era

la realización de un prototipo de una estructura urbana

mediante herramientas de parametrización

tridimensional y la herramienta informática Rhinoceros.

Para realizarlo se disponía exclusivamente de tres

paneles de madera y de 10 metros de cuerda. Se decidió

realizar un parasol que mediante unas uniones delgadas

y mecánicas permitiera hacer crecer la pieza en altura y

en volumen. De este modo se genero una pieza que

pudiera dar sombra y captar energía solar en sus

paneles superiores.

Display of the result under the second Advanced

Architecture Master of the Institute of Advanced

Architecture of Catalonia (IAAC). The objective of the

workshop was the realization of a prototype of an urban

structure with tridimensional parameterization tools and

Rhinoceros software tool. To do so was available only

three wooden panels and 10 meters of rope. It was

decided to make a parasol with a thin and mechanical

joints allow the piece to grow in height and volume.

This generates a piece that could provide shade and

capture solar energy in its upper panels.
