Mandate:

The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office(PCSO) is the principal government agency forraising and providing funds for healthprograms, medical assistance and services, andcharities of national character.

Vision:

The PCSO shall be the principal governmentagency for raising and providing funds forhealth programs, medical assistance andservices and charities of national character.

Mission:

To generate funds for health programs andcharities of national character through charitysweepstakes races, lotteries, and other similaractivities.

Laboratory/Diagnostic Procedures

Wheelchair, Hearing Aid, Implant/Prosthesis

Requirements: request letter , original/CTC medical abstract, prescription of

medicines, indigency certificate, price quotations, hospital billing statement, etc.

private organizations)

Requirements: request letter, justification for donation, resolution

requesting for ambulance unit, requirement for 60%-40% cost-

sharing scheme

Policy: request/donation

only every five (5) years;

1st, 2nd, 3rd class municipalities,

60% - 40% sharing scheme;

4th, 5th, 6th class municipalities,

100% donation

Peace, and rehabilitated rural health centers in 5th- and 6th-class municipalities

a temporary housing shelter for pediatric cancer patients from the

provinces at the East Avenue Medical Center.

• Upgrading of medical equipment in public hospitals: hi-tech x-

ray and imaging machines, 16-slice scanner, etc.
