Fuse Principality, Jack Frost, and Ippon-Datara. But keep in mind that Matador is of the Death Arcana, so it may be a while for you to get Mahama on it. Autonomic Basalts have ridiculous resistance against physical attack. Only Garu can make them fall on their asses. Bribed Fuzz uses strong physical attack like Single Shot. They weak against Mudo so if you have Lilim she's a great help here. Beware when you encounter Monopolizing Cupids as they tend to use Pulinpa to confuse a single target. If they appear more than three than be sure to use Mabufu immediately. Try to score Player Advantage as even in normal encounters their turns will come first. Similar with Autonomic Basalts, use Garu to knock Daring Gigas down. Nizam Beasts and Dancing Hands have no weakness, but vulnerable to status ailments. As with all Dice family, kill their Iron siblings quickly with Zio to avoid even stronger Last Resort from them. This time it has strength of Megidola. Pursuing Pesces mostly floating around stupidly and cast Evil Touch on your team to inflict Fear status. When they succeeded in inflicting one or more of your allies, they will summon Phantom Master who will use Ghastly Wail to kill anyone with that status. By the way, this is the only way to fight Phantom Master as they will never appear in normal encounter except this way. And they carry a valuable Magic Cloth material which can be sold to make an accessory called Mage's Mark that will restore small amount of SP every turn. The catch is that you need ten of them, and Pesce only summon one Phantom per battle. This could lead to severe head injuries because the material is freaking hard to get. You can try to fight them near the stairs leading to the fourth floor (the intersection where you can fight set of Shadows), beat them, go up the stairs, go down and repeat. You can fight them quicker, but it's still depend on luck whether you encounter Pesces or not. Or whether the Phantoms dropped Magic Clothes or not. So if you don't have an extreme amount of patience, I suggest you to leave this one out. But if you DO want to get it, ponder these for a second: it costs 25,000 yen a piece, and only restored measly 3 SP per turn. Does that worth your time and sanity? Selfish Basalts resist physical and AoA things. So you better use Mamudo to wipe them out. Vicious Ravens is a little clever than Black Raven as one of them use Matarukaja, the others attack in the single turn. Each attack can take about 50 HP damage. So kill them all with Zio. Killer Twins are weak against Agi and resist physical, but they're smart and cast Red Wall most of the time to cover their weakness. Use other elements like Bufu or Garu to kill them. Tranquil Idols know Mahama and weak against Mudo. Any Personas that weak against Hama such as Devil or Death should be avoided. Use Bufu to froze Crying Table to death. Even though Grave Beetles don't repel physical attack like their cousins, they know Mamudo. So avoid equipping any Personas that weak against Mudo such as Justice or Sun Personas. Perhaps the most dangerous Shadow in this dungeon is Wondrous Magi. They have the ability to use all type of elemental spells: first-tier multi-target spells and second-tier single target spells. Don't let them ganged-up on you or give them an advantage battle if you want to keep your sanity. (getting wiped out with only one floor to go, happened to me several times in the past) Use status effect to take them out effectively like Tentarafoo or Foolish Whisper. Actually I wrote this down before ??? told me about it, but thanks anyway. And everyone favorite Golden Shadow will begin to appear from now on. Wealth Hand is weak against Zio while resist everything else. Early on, you might need to use AoA twice to kill it. You'll fight a Minion on the seventh floor. _____________________ ____ _______ _______ ____ ____ ____ ____ ____ ____ ____| 7th Floor Minion | Lv | H P | S P | Py | Ag | Bf | Zi | Gr | Hm | Md |||||||||||||| Fighting Gigas | 22 | 0,928 | 0,100 | -- | -- | -- | -- | -- | Nl | Nl || || Battle Actions |||||| Power Charge | Tarukaja | Rebellion || Single Shot | Counter | Sharp Student | This minion is easy. What you need to do is cast MC's Rakunda on it, Yousuke'sSukukaja and Chie's Tarukaja on MC. Yukiko casts Agi or Agilao on it. Theminion's actions -- in this order -- every turn are:1. Power Charge2. Rebellion3. Tarukaja4. Single ShotThen it will repeat this pattern again. So on second and third turn, MC usesDouble Shot for over 200 HP damage, Yousuke's Sonic Punch, Chie's Assault Dive,Yukiko the same as before. But beware of its Counter attack. If you want to gowith the safe way, use any second level spells (Agilao, Bufula, etc) on theGigas instead of physical attack. On the fourth turn, command everyone to Guardas Gigas' Single Shot can take well over 200 HP damage on unGuarded member. Dothe same for next turns, and you will kill it before the second Single Shotcomes up. _________________________ _________________________ _________________________| EXP: 685 | Money: 250 yen | Item: Bathhouse Key | When you reach the eleventh floor, save and make a decision. There are two ways you can restore everyone's SP: by paying Kitsune an absurd amount of cash, or fight some battles and try to get either Death or Judgement Arcana Chance. Then return to Velvet Room and fuse any Personas with second level element: Jack Frost/King Frost (Bufula), High Pixie/Shiisaa (Zionga), or Nigi Mitama/ Phoenix (Garula). If you leveled up Jack Frost before like I did, he should learn Ice Boost/Bufula at level 18 and 19, respectively. Transfer them to King Frost or any other Personas that aren't weak to Zio -- Shiisaa is a good choice. Another alternate Persona to bring is Rakshasa: Tons of great physical skills and strong against physical. I already pointed this above, but make sure to bring Nigi Mitama along since it has Diarama, which restores moderate HP on single ally. It weaks against Zio, though. Fuse it with another Persona to transfer Diarama if you prefer the safer way. But since Nigi itself has rather high Magic stats, I rather not. My Nigi has Diarama, Bufula, Garula, and Ice Boost. And like before, don't forget to bring Personas with Sukunda, Tarunda and Rakunda. Another optional Persona to fuse at this point is Kaiwan. It has Tetrakarn as a default skill -- as mentioned in a fight with Contrarian King -- but Kaiwan itself is weak against physical attack. Transfer its Tetrakarn to any physical resist Personas (Rakshasa) or Zio Null Personas (Shiisaa, High Pixie). This spell has its use later. Equip Snow Vow on MC, Falcon Eyes on everyone else. If you have Thunder Pin, slap it on Yousuke. On side note, keep some at least one Peach Seed with you for a future quest and don't sell it. _______________________ ____ _______ _____ ____ ____ ____ ____ ____ ____ ____| Shadow Boss | Lv | H P | S P | Py | Ag | Bf | Zi | Gr | Hm | Md |||||||||||||| ....... ..... | 24 | 2,000 | --- | -- | -- | -- | -- | -- | Nl | Nl || Nice Guy | 24 | 0,800 | --- | -- | St | Dr | -- | -- | Nl | Nl || Tough Guy | 24 | 0,800 | --- | Dr | Dr | -- | -- | -- | Nl | Nl || || Battle Actions |||||| Power Charge | Swift Strike | Fatal End || Fanatical Spark | Roar of Wrath | Prohibited Murmur || Tetrakarn | Life Drain | |||||| Mutudi | Heat Riser | White Wall || Diarama | Dia | Tarukaja |||||| Dekaja | Rampage | Kill Rush | This fight is slightly easier than Yukiko's Shadow, although it took one heckof a time to beat them. I spend nearly fifteen minutes to beat them at Lv 24.The one you should dispose off first is Nice Guy. Because he keeps healing andproviding support to the Shadow. He absorbs Bufu, though. So your alternateattack will be physical or Zio/Garu.Did you see that Nice Guy has Mutudi? This spell isn't just for show; it curesSilence status. That means someone in the opposing team vulnerable to it. CastMakajam on Tough Guy to prevent Dekaja and other skills. Muzzle Shot is uselessbecause Tough Guy drains physical attack, so it has no effect on him.Let's begin. Cast Sukunda on the Shadow, Yousuke's Sukukaja on Chie, she shouldattack Nice Guy with Assault Dive, Yukiko heals Chie. Next turn, MC's Rakundaon Nice Guy, Yousuke's Sukukaja on MC, Chie's Tarukaja on MC, Yukiko's Media onall. Don't worry too much about Tough Guy's Dekaja, he only cast it if hemanaged to get "One More" on your team.Whenever you see Shadow Power Charges himself, command everyone to defend. Thedamage sustained still high, though. Heal immediately after that. Cast Makajamon the Tough Guy. He will get silenced for FIVE turns. Most of his turns willbe wasted when he tries to use Rampage or Kill Rush. This will distract NiceGuy's turn as he will cast Mutudi on Tough Guy, so he'll forget his main dutyto cast Heat Riser on the Shadow. As a result, Yousuke can cast Sukukaja onsomeone who needs it, especially Yukiko because of her low defense. BUT, thistactic has a negative side, and that is MC can never attack since he has tocast Makajam on Tough Guy in every turn because Nice Guy will keep healing theother Guy of his status. Now it's time to slap Nice Guy into oblivion. Switch to Rakshasa and use DoubleShot/Hysterical Slap on him. Even though Brain Shake hits one to three times, fixed hits is better in boss fights than random hits. Double Shot should takesabout 160 to 200 HP damage with each use. Then Yousuke's Sonic Punch, Chie'sAssault Dive, and Yukiko's Media. Repeat until Nice Guy bit the dusts. Stopattacking every once in a while to restore extra HP loss and recast debuffspells. When you see Nice Guy cast Heat Riser on Shadow or Tarukaja on Tough Guy,immediately make Yousuke casts Dekaja on them to nullify the bonuses. Afterhe's -- Nice Guy -- been defeated, you can ignore Tough Guy for the remainderof the fight and only focus on the Shadow, but even though he has weak attack, don't forget about his Critical hits. As you already know, this will doubledamage taken by victims and they can't evade the attack as well. So the wiseoption is to get rid of him then. Now to make use of Bufula with Ice Boost and Snow Vow activated. MC castsRakunda on Tough Guy, Yousuke's Sukukaja on MC, Chie's Tarukaja also on MC,Yukiko's Media on all. Cast Bufula on Tough Guy for more than 250 HP damage.Yousuke's Garu, Chie's Tarukaja on Yousuke, Yukiko's usual support. He's deadin no time flat. This Shadow is insane. In Expert mode, he'll keep using Swift Strike nearlyevery turn. Sometimes even without casting Power Charge beforehand. Yousukewill be busy every turn to cast Sukukaja on everyone for them to evade SwiftStrike more often. For your offense, the Tough Guy setup works well on him, too. But this time youcan switch between Bufula and Double Shot. When he hits his third phase, hebegins to spam Prohibited Murmur, which inflicts Poison on everyone, I mean, only on guys. I wonder why. Nevertheless, you should heal Poison status if youhave Dokudami Tea or Posumudi. Otherwise just let Yukiko casts Media everyturn.Another attack he uses at this point is Roar of Wrath to inflicts Rage...onlyon girls. Never cure Chie of this status. Cast Tarukaja and Sukukaja on her andshe will take more than 200 HP damage per attack. Cure Yukiko with Sedative sothat she can resume to heal as normal. However, in Shadow's next turn, he'llcast Tetrakarn on himself to repel physical attack. So before Chie's turn comesin, make MC attacks Shadow to nullify his Tetrakarn. Immediately after that,Yousuke casts Dia on him to heal his HP. Chie might get beaten after Shadow'snext turn, at least she got her hand... I mean her foot on Shadow's teeth. On alternate way, cast Tetrakarn on Chie to protect her from Shadow's Fatal Endand Swift Strike. However, Tetrakarn costs 36 SP, which is a lot in this fightsince you need MC to cast Diarama, Recarm, Rakunda, etc. Use Attack Mirrorsinstead if you have some.At the fourth phase, he'll begin to use Fanatical Spark. Unless Yousuke evadesor Guards against it, your team will always suffer consecutive attacks. TwoSparks are hurt, but followed by Swift Strike is even worse! Yousuke will lyingprone on ground, and both Chie and Yukiko will be in Pinch status, or followYousuke's steps. Sometimes Shadow will just use a normal attack or Fatal Endon single target instead of those two powerful attacks. If MC still equipped with Nigi Mitama, don't equip it on him anymore sincehe'll be joining Yousuke soon. Switch Nigi with with High Pixie or Shiisaainstead, so MC will be the last man standing from Shadow's assault. Even thoughthose Personas aren't weak against physical attack, as spellcasters, theirEndurance are pretty crappy, so you need to be extremely careful with MC's HP.Revive Yousuke if he got beaten and/or cast Blue Wall on him. Then resume toattack the Shadow until he's defeated. _________________________ _________________________ _________________________| EXP: 1,008 | Money: 3,000 yen | Item: N/A | Events.Evening: Event._______________________________________________________________________________o>---< May 21st, 2011 >---< Saturday >---< Cloudy >-----------------------------< May 22nd, 2011 >---< Sunday >---< Cloudy >-------------------------------< May 23rd, 2011 >---< Monday >---< Cloudy >-------------------------------< May 24th, 2011 >---< Tuesday >---< Clear >-------------------------------< May 30th, 2011 >---< Monday >---< Cloudy >-------------------------------< May 31st, 2011 >---< Tuesday >---< Cloudy >-----------------------------------------------------------< End of May >--------------------------------< June 1st, 2011 >---< Wednesday >---< Cloudy >----------------------------< June 2nd, 2011 >---< Thursday >---< Cloudy/Rain >------------------------< June 3rd, 2011 >---< Friday >---< Rain >---------------------------------< June 4th, 2011 >---< Saturday >---< Rain >-------------------------------< June 8th, 2011 >---< Wednesday >---< Cloudy >----------------------------< June 9th, 2011 >---< Thursday >---< Cloudy >-----------------------------< June 11th, 2011 >---< Saturday >---< Rain/Cloudy >-----------------------< June 16th, 2011 >---< Thursday >---< Cloudy/Clear >----------------------< June 17th, 2011 >---< Friday >---< Cloudy >--------------------------- You're being looked at with expectation... Fortunately someone (possible Rise) managed to heal theteam completely. So, as all the preparations are out of the way, let's see whatthis Shadow has.First, he is the master of Bufu spells. As you might guess, Yukiko is in gravetrouble here. But she is the necessary ally to bring in any boss battles. Earlyof the battle, Shadow begins by casting Mind Charge on himself to increase thedamage dealt from Mabufula. After you see this, immediately command everyone toGuard. Switch MC's Persona to either Unicorn (null Ice) or Ganga (drains Ice).He will be safe here.Foolish Whisper inflicts everyone with Silence, seriously handicap your ways toheal and attack. Use Mouthwash/Amrita Soda or Mutudi to cure the ailment. IfMabufula follows after Mind Charge, then his other attack; Heat Wave followsright after Marakunda. Cast Dekunda or use Purifying Salt on the team tonullifies the penalty. And command the others to Guard. At the third phase, Shadow begins to use Ultra Charge, the upgrade version ofthe usual Mind Charge. This spell uses two of the Shadow's turns. Meaning youhave free and safe way to deal damage to him, FOR A TURN. Command everyone toGuard on their next turn to nullify Nihil Hand completely. If your party don'traise their Guard, they will take about 200 HP damage each along with Dizzystatus. He also randomly uses Nullity Guidance, an extremely powerful single targetattack with 100% chance to cause Dizzy status even when Guard has been raised. He usually use it twice on two members and use a random follow-up attack after-ward.In this fight, MC's job is to attack and support. He should cast Diarama onany member with low HP as they really need it. If he evades Foolish Whisper, make him cures any inflicted member.First turn, MC casts Power Charge, Chie's Tarukaja on Yousuke, Yousuke castsSukukaja on MC, and as usual command Yukiko to defend. Next, MC's Rakunda onShadow, Chie's Tarukaja on MC, Yousuke casts Garula, Yukiko heals. AboutShadow's actions, although predictable, are actually UNpredictable. I mean,we know that Mabufula will be cast after Mind Charge, but he also can castFoolish Whisper or other skills instead of one listed above.Next, MC uses Double Shot on Shadow for over 400 HP damage. Others can repeattheir attack as previous turns. If you feeling brave, command Yukiko to castAgilao once in a while after Chie casts Tarukaja on her. Note that I didn'ttell you to use Tarunda or Sukunda? Since this fight is different from previousbosses because you need to be quick. You don't want to fight that sexy Shadowagain, do you?In final phase, his Mabufula seems to forget to follow after Mind Charge sincehe's been casting it randomly. Heat Wave still after Marakunda, though. Justquickly wail him away because random Mabufula is more dangerous than NihilHand. If you drag the fight too long, you might have to see something you don'twant to see. Yes, Bufudyne. Instantly kills Yukiko and seriously injured theother. Only MC with Ganga will survive the carnage. Even so, don't rely on Bufuresistance too much as Shadow has Ice Break to nullify the resistance. _________________________ _________________________ _________________________| EXP: 2,000 | Money: 3,000 yen | Item: N/A | Events. | Leading Idol | 07 || Tungsten | 470 | Great Sword | 04 | Steel Machine | 09 | Now that you Rise has joined your team, she has Full Analysis ability that reveals all Shadows excepts bosses' attacks. So I will stop giving my own "full analysis" starting from this dungeon. But I still give some quick informations about some of the Shadows. We begin with Supreme Hand. It nullifies all elements and strong against physical attacks. One Megido and some physical attacks will wipe it out. Scarlet Turret is weak against status ailments such as Rage, Silence, Panic and several more. Using those will render it completely harmless. Next is Steel Machine. This robot-Shadow packs some serious damage with its sword, usually more than 200 HP damage on single target. Even though it only has 65 HP, it has defense high through the roof that most of your attacks only deal between 5 to 15 HP damage. So the best solution to kill is using either Hamaon or Mudoon. And the cheapest way to kill it is to use any elemental attack items you found so far: Firecrackers, Ice Cubes, Ball Lightnings and Pinwheels. Those items dealt fixed 50 HP damage on any target. So command one of your members to use that item and the other attacks. You should be able to kill it in single turn. Don't think that weak items have no use. You'll arrive on the first fixed floor: Chapter 3. Most rooms in this Chapter is cross-shaped. With both wings will warp you to another cross-rooms. For example, going left-wing of the middle cross will warp you to the left cross- shaped room. Then if you go right-wing in this room you'll be warped to the middle cross-shaped room. You cannot get warped if you go to the same side of the area where your current room is. i.e. You cannot go left if you're in the left-side room, and so on. The exit is at the upper-left. Eventually you'll reach the most annoying of all floors in Persona 4: Chapter 7. If you played, or at least read my Thousand Arms guide, you should notice there's a maze I called Maze of the Crimson Eyes. Whenever you reach the intersections in this Chapter, the screen will rotate to random side. Luckily MC will still facing the side where you originally wanted to go. That means if you want to go left, the screen rotates and MC now facing down, press O and just go straight up to the left side that you wanted to go before. Confusing, I know. At the northmost of this Chapter is a room that contains both minion-wannabe and an Orb of Darkness. Of course you need to beat the minion first to get the Orb. This minion is called Killing Hand. You should already met some of them inside the Maru-Q before. This time it gain some levels and new attack. Along with the ability to summon endless supply of Almighty Hands to assist it in battle. Almighty Hands usually only appear in one in this Chapter, so you should beat some of them here to get six Electric Rocks. When sold to Daidara he will create a Thunder Plate which is an awesome weapon for Kanji that increased his Zio damage by 25% (the effect is void after he learned Elec Boost). Rank 7 Empress: Create Lv 40 Yatagarasu with Megido. We begin with the Triple Spread first: a. Taotie (Megido) + Ganga + Gorgon b. Taotie + Setanta + Virtue c. Taotie + Undine + Virtue d. Taotie + Virtue + Mithra e. Taotie + Mithra + Orthrus You can't fuse Tower Persona to get Sun Persona directly, so you have to use Triple Spread. Another way is to transfer Taotie's Megido to other Personas that can direct-fuse with others to get Sun Persona. Here are some of them: a. Magician + Hanged Man/Devil b. Priestess + Hierophant c. Emperor + Temperance d. Chariot + Fool/Hierophant e. Hierophant + Strength Don't leave this Persona, bring it with you to the boss fight here. And before you fight the boss, summon a Justice Persona from Velvet Room. _______________________ ____ _______ _____ ____ ____ ____ ____ ____ ____ ____| Shadow Bosses | Lv | H P | S P | Py | Ag | Bf | Zi | Gr | Hm | Md |||||||||||||| Mitsuo the Zero | 45 | 1,400 | --- | -- | -- | -- | -- | -- | Nl | Nl || Kubo Mitsuo | 45 | 4,000 | --- | -- | -- | -- | -- | -- | Nl | Nl || || Battle Actions |||||| EX Turn | Command | Fight || Item | Gigadyne | |||||| Agilao | Bufula | Zionga || Garula | Maragion | Mabufula || Mazionga | Magarula | Megidola || Stagnant Air | Arm Chopper | Evil Touch || Evil Smile | Ghastly Wail | Dekaja || Red Wall | White Wall | Blue Wall || Green wall | Elbow Strike | Character Setup || Whisper | Chant | Prayer | You'll begin this battle always againsts Mitsuo the Zero (changing name onpurpose), the "shield" of the real Mitsuo's Shadow. You need to wither its HPto zero (no pun intended) to reveal the Shadow. Zero is the first boss that hasthe ability to attack two consecutive times per turn. His action is calledCommand. Like in every RPG, he will either Attack, cast Magic, or use Items.Fight is an attack that does approx. 150 HP damage on single target. Spell iswhen he used a...spell called Gigadyne (reminds me of Dragon Quest VII'sGigadain) on everyone for about 150 HP damage. And inflicting Exhaustion statuson single target when he used Item. All of his actions in this Zero form isAlmigthy including his Fight, so Repel Physical, Tetrakarn and Physical Mirrorwill not work. When his HP draws near to zero, let MC deals the final attack. And after youdefeated the Zero, the real form appears and vulnerable for AoA. Cancel it anduse Yousuke's Garula, Kanji's Cruel Attack and the fourth member's best attacklike Kuma's Bufula, Yukiko's Agilao or Chie's Black Spot. After Mitsuo floats, he will cast Dekaja to nullify everyone's buff status anduse one of the four elemental Walls. So if he used Green Wall, command Kanji toGuard as Mitsuo's next turn will be Magarula. Same with other Walls: a. Red Wall = Maragion b. White Wall = Mabufula c. Blue Wall = MaziongaIf you don't command the one who weak against any of those elements to Guard, that person will suffer serious damage and Dizzy status. Let's use Kanji as anexample again. Magarula will knock him down, then Mitsuo will cast Megidola forhuge 200 HP damage, and finally Garula on Kanji again, rendering him Dizzy orKO.Next, Mitsuo uses Stagnant Air and Whisper to build his Zero armor again. Youneed to deal 500 HP damage on him in single turn to make him vulnerable to AoAagain. If you fail to do so, he will cast two consecutive Evil Touch on two ofyour members in his next turn. Or Arm Chopper instead. Cure them with Me Patraor Sedative because he will use Ghastly Wail next, which will kill anyone withFear status. After he's done with Fear's business, he will use Chant tocontinue building his second level armor. This time he will cast Evil Smile to inflict everyone with Fear. Beware whenthis happen since its possible that everyone who suffered it might lose theirturn. This is like a punishment for not destroying his build up armor quickly.Later he will use Prayer anyway to complete his Zero armor and get leveled up.He'll begin his new turn with Gigadyne. Then usually followed with either Fightor Item. The latter is annoying since it will sap the victim's SP every turn.Use Royal Jelly to cure it. Don't let MC's HP fall below 300 or he might getdefeated next. See, Gigadyne and Fight both deal more than 150 HP damage, soif he gets unlucky and get hit by both of them in the single turn... I tellthis from my own experience, and it's damn hurt.So let's begin. Switch MC's to Persona to the one who has Power Charge likeOse, Oni, Setanta and the like. Yousuke cast Garula, Kanji uses his physicalattack, and if you have Kuma, make him cast Matarukaja. Next, MC use powerfulsingle target skill like Mighty Swing, Black Spot or Cruel Attack. Yousukecontinue with his Garula, Kanji's Kill Rush or Mighty Swing if you have it.Kuma or Yukiko should cast Mediarama to restore any lost HP. If the Zero isdefeated in this turn then use AoA on him. And if MC managed to score criticalhit then cancel AoA and use everyone best attack like mentioned before. After Mitsuo use his Whisper, quickly attack it so it will never have a chanceto build another armor, and make him fall on his ass again for another AoA's"moment." Remember to command someone who has weakness to the elemental Wallthat Mitsuo cast before so that your team don't suffer huge damage. If Mitsuo managed to rebuild his armor, command MC to cast Masukukaja (learnedfrom Yatagarasu, you should have it by now) so that everyone will evade Zero'sFight and Gigadyne more often. His third and fourth phases seem pretty same all-around as his attacks don'tseem to change much. Continue with Power/Mind Charge and beat him intosubmission. _________________________ _________________________ _________________________| EXP: 2,495 | Money: 3,000 yen | Item: N/A | Events. you still have to do here...? A. There is something. > Might as well stop by the food court one last time... A. Yes Next, go to Samegawa Riverbed and talk to Doujima. Pick the second option, and then series of questions will be asked. You can answer them anyway you like. Wander around the Shopping District and talk to various NPCs just for fun. After that head to the Velvet Room. After receiving Orb of Sight from Igor, it will be raining outside and a person who usually appear in rain will appear now. Make a conversation with that person... Attendant: ......? Hi there. Do you need something? B. Isn't this where I first...? Attendant: ...Oh, is this about the part-time job? I'm sorry, we don't have an opening yet. B. Do you know Namatame? C. Do you know Adachi? Talk to the attendant again. Attendant: ......? Something else I can help you with? B. Have you met those two? C. Did those two come here? Talk to the attendant again. Attendant: I asked you to leave me alone... Did you miss that? B. Did you do anything to them? Attendant: *chuckle* What about it? B. What did you do to me? Attendant: Is there something that's bothering you? About the time when we first met...? A. Yes, there is. B. Who are you? C. Did you give me the power? Done. After that, return to the Velvet Room now or later and Margaret will present you with a suit of Mandara Robe as your prize for maxing all Social Links. Lower defense, but has 50% more EXP effect, same with Musashi Shinai. If you equip both of them, you'll gain 100% more EXP for all battles. And with Moon Arcana Chance, you'll get 400% more EXP! Get it? A. Normal = 100% B. Mandara Robe + Musashi Shinai = 100% C. Moon Arcana = x 2 D. (A + B) x C = 400% E. (Normal + Robe & Shinai) x Moon = 400% F. (100% + 100%) x 2 = 400% G. (100 EXP x 2) x 2 = 400 EXP To tell you the truth, I was rather disappointed with the prize for maxing all Links in single playthrough. Not only items won't get carried into the new game, you have to re-maxed the Links in order to get Mandara Robe again. If you ask me, I rather have the special ending where MC get together his only lover. No special endings given if he has more than one girlfriend and failed to maxed out all Links in single playthrough. But that's just me. Now go to Junes Food Court and jump into the TV World. And suddenly everyone in their school uniforms! I know it's always like this, but it's kind of amusing to point that out. Talk to Rise to head to Yomotsu Hirasaka. You can examine the exit if you want to buy/sell some weapons or items. Unlike in previous dungeons, in case you want to reset the current dungeon you're in, you have to leave, enter different dungeon, and re-enter your previously entered dungeon to rearranged the levels. This time, you just have to leave and re-enter and everything will be automatically reset. Make it easier if you want to collect a lot of free items. _____________________________________________________________________________| R A R E I T E M S ||||| Barbaric Bracers ............. < C > | Like Steel Machine in Void Quest before, it has very high defense and resists all attacks. You can kill it with Hama or Mudo or by the use of Magatama or normal attack items, or Smart Bomb. Casting Megidola or Megidolaon on it in the first turn also will wipe it out instantly. Oddly, it will resist Almighty after second turn. Additionally, killing it in the first turn have a higher chance for it to drop Pyroxene Fiber, which is very rare material to obtain. Neo Minotaur. You'll meet it first at Path 3 as penultimate final minion. You can meet it again on Path 8. It has very low defense like Solemn Machine as opposed to absurdly high defense of Heartless Machine. Even single strike will take nearly 1,000 HP damage from it of total 10,000 HP. My favorite skill, Primal Force deals 3,000 HP damage to it. AoA after critical deals about the same damage as Primal Force, use Vile Assault instead to take nearly 5,000 HP damage from it. _______________________ ____ _______ _____ ____ ____ ____ ____ ____ ____ ____| Path 3 Minion | Lv | H P | S P | Py | Ag | Bf | Zi | Gr | Hm | Md |||||||||||||| Neo Minotaur | 78 | 4,200 | 100 | -- | -- | -- | -- | -- | Nl | Nl || || Battle Actions |||||| Rampage | | | This minion will wander outside of this room later as normal encounter. So after you get critical hit out of it,cancel AoA and use Vile Assault or other elemental spell as AoA will deal lessthan 100 HP damage, so don't bother with it. _________________________ _________________________ _________________________| EXP: 3,481 | Money: 520 yen | Item: N/A | _______________________ ____ _______ _____ ____ ____ ____ ____ ____ ____ ____| Path 6 Minion | Lv | H P | S P | Py | Ag | Bf | Zi | Gr | Hm | Md |||||||||||||| Sleeping Table | 82 | 2,000 | 999 | -- | -- | -- | -- | -- | Nl | Nl || || Battle Actions |||||| Maragidyne | Mahamaon | Megidolaon || Evil Smile | Ghastly Wail | | The final minion of the game is the one who severely kicking everyone's assin Persona 3. Also equip your inactive team members with their initial equipments so that you can sell their latest ones. That's why I told you to keep their initial equipments earlier in the guide. But keep at least one Soma in your inventory, some Bead Chains, Soul Food or two, some Balm of Lives, several status curing items especially Amrita Soda, some Purifying Salts, and most important item, Magic Mirrors, at least three or four of it. Your items in this playthrough won't get carried over to the next game, so why bother to keep them while you can sell them for boatload of cash? Bring along Yousuke, Kanji and Kuma with you. There's a reason for this setup. Yousuke with his Masukukaja and Garudyne; Kanji's Matarukaja, Primal Force and Elec Break; and Kuma for his Marakukaja and Mediarahan. Sure, you can bring Yukiko (Mediariser, I mean Salvation), Chie (Power Charge, God's Hand and Agneyastra) or Naoto (nothing special...). But since both Chie and Yukiko are around Lv 40-ish now, and Naoto doesn't have any spectacular skills, I rather let them watch the battle with popcorns on their side. Return to the top floor. Give MC an accessory than will make him immune to status ailments such as Book of the Void. The others can keep their current accessories if you want. If not change them to any accessories that will boost their elemental power. But give Divine Pillar or Takefutsu Pin to Kuma so he can absorb some damage from Maziodyne. The setup for MC is optional, because as you know, Guard will nullify any status ailments. You can give MC the God's Love if you prefer Guarding, or Bead Ring so he can evade spells more often. _______________________ ____ _______ _____ ____ ____ ____ ____ ____ ____ ____| Final Boss | Lv | H P | S P | Py | Ag | Bf | Zi | Gr | Hm | Md |||||||||||||| Izanami | -- | 3,500 | --- | -- | -- | -- | -- | -- | Nl | Nl || || Battle Actions |||||| Agidyne | Maragidyne | Bufudyne || Mabufudyne | Ziodyne | Maziodyne || Megidolaon | Hamaon | Stagnant Air || Foolish Whisper | | | Whenever she gets "One More", almost always it will be followed with Hamaon, sotry to Guard if you bring someone with elemental weakness like Kuma and Yukiko.Izanami isn't too hard if you can act quickly.
