“Omega” Visits Samir Group in Jeddah

As a routine visit that occurs every three to four months, Omega Company, represented by Mr. Jonathan Vadnos, Vice President, visited SamirGroup in Jeddah to witness the introduction of theirnew product to the Saudi market.

During this visit that took place on 14th, Septemberrepresentatives from both companies had thechanceto discuss the launching of Omega new productsand their target market, in addition to overviewingOmega latest performance in Saudi Arabia.

It is worth mentioning that Omega was named asthe World’s Finest Juicers and Beverages Equipmentfor 2014, and it has been supplying the world for yearswith a complete line of juicers, high - speed blenders,food processors, granite machines, drink dispensers,and other equipment to prepare food & beverages theway that exceeds every customer’s expectations.

Samir Group’s Medical Division has signed an agreement with Sensium Healthcare, UK - the manufacturer of wirelessand wearable patient monitors which will add another feather to the product profile of Hospital Equipments & Medical Supplies Department as a niche product for the future trend of technologies to come, announced by the Medical division Business Manager Mr. Zaeem Ulhaq.

This low cost system allows for early and near real - time detectionof patient health deterioration, early intervention, improving patient outcomes, reducing hospital stay and lowering treatment cost. With the lightweight (15g), unobtrusive Patch and unique roamingcapability of Sensium Vitals patients are free to move around freelywhile they are monitored wirelessly towards improved recovery.

Sales and Service training had been conducted from 4-6 August2014 at Ramada Chelsea Hotel at Dubai under professional guidance of Mr. Steve Atkinson – Senior VP & GM and Ms. Liz Hughes – Business Development Director from the principal company. This training had been attended by Samir Sales andService Team comprising of Mr. Mahboob Ali – Area Sales Manager ( Central Region ), Mr. Ali Abbas – Area Sales Manager(Eastern Region), Engr. Samir Group participated in Automation University that was held in Sheraton Dammam Convention and Exhibition Center on 9th & 10th of September. We have displayed the new OverView OSV-340C , Seamless 3.8 megapixels collaboration Video wall designed for 24/7 display application ,panoramic seamless canvas, a mixof data and video can be displayed simultaneously in high quality without the interruption of a seam or a bezel.

Automation University is a Rockwell Automation educational - based, solution - oriented, commercialevent that, through a variety of different methods andupdates, educates Rockwell Automation customers. During this event, Samir Group had the chance to learnabout the latest developments in automation and information technology.

Automation University has been developed to addressthe fact that industry is demanding a more flexible, multi - skilled workforce, capable of working within increasingly lean and more agile manufacturing environments.

This two - day event offered an extensive program of seminars, presentations, and hands - on workshops where participants were able to learn about the latest technology around Power, Control and Information, get the inside track on the latest trends, and be informed of key issues in their industries.

Do you want to make better use of your time at work in order to be more productive and get ahead in your career? Time management is your best way to be more organized, maintain your focus and use your time to yourbest advantage. If you aren’t doing a great job of managing your time, then you probably aren’t able to deliver projectson time or you end up missing a few important meetings.

1. Make a to-do list: Create a to-do-list and make it a habit to continually update it. Include urgent and non-urgent items so you don’t forget anything. 2. Break a big task into smaller tasks: Take the big projects and break them down into few smaller tasks that you can do without much stress because sometimes it’s hard to know where to start when you have a major project to complete.3. Set and respect deadlines: Be realistic about selling deadlines & make sure you meet them. Although we tend to get a lot done when we’re under pressure, it’s a lot less stressful and more professional to set an action plan and stick to it.4. Use a calendar to keep track of everything: You can use your Smart Phone calendar to run your work. This makes life much easier and you end up not forgetting anything. Another thing you can do is to set two reminders for every event; one that occurs a day before and the other that happens fifteen minutes before. This way, you don’t miss anything important.

Samir Group, represented by Jalal Stouhi, Anas Abu Jubbeh, Mohsin Abbas and Firas Ayyash attended the Carestream Middle East DistributorsMeeting in Antalya, Turkey during the 18th & 20th of June.

During the three day event full year 2013 performance was reviewed and the best performerswere acknowledged with recognition plaques.

Samir Sales team proudly received the best DR( Digital Radiography ) sales award in the region whileSamir CES was recognized for their best after salesservices. The awards were handed over by Mr. LaithBazzui, Cluster manager for emerging markets and by Mr. Abdullah Abbadi, Channel Service sales manager.

Samir Group visited the IFA 2014 exhibition that was held in Berlin. Being part of this exhibition, WAHLhad the chance to unveil their new products that willbe introduced. very soon in the Saudi Market, andthat will play a key role in enhancing Samir Group salesperformance on the short and long terms.

During this visit, a business discussion took place between Samir Group representatives Mr. Ibrahim Sobh, Consumer Business Manager and Mr. ThomasBlank, Vice President ( Sales, Marketing InternationalConsumer and Professional ), and Mr. Arun Prakash,Regional Director for Middle East.
