Professional prospectsand career opportunitiesThis Mastre Spcialisis for students who are considering a career in theaircraftairworthiness sector. The opening-up of the European air transportmarket, the developmentof the Asian market and the ageing of the worldairline fleet all create real job prospects. The concerns of constructors and operators regarding the risks of a disor-derly development of air transport increase the need for technical moni-toring and quality control. The Mastre Spcialis in AircraftAirworthiness offered by ENAC and ISAEtakes advantage of the excellent relations of both Universities with leadingcompanies in the aeronautical engineering sector both in Europe and world-wide.
Content and objectivesAircraft airworthiness must be considered as a coherent process runningfrom the design of the aircraftto the monitoring of its technical conditionin airline service. The Mastre Spcialis in AircraftAirworthiness coversboth the technical aspects of certification and the legal and economic
implications. This course has been designed to give future managers abroad understanding of the issues and priorities which, as far as aero-nautical construction is concerned, have an international dimension.Air transport deregulation and the developmentof a global economy nec-essarily imply an increase in vigilance on behalf of both the regulatoryauthorities and the industry.Progress regarding safety has been constant. In the last 20 years, the accident rate per flighthour has been reduced bya factor of 10.This is becoming insufficient due to the considerable increasein traffic.Currenttrends should encourage us to make even more improve-ments, and this necessarily involves training. The Mastre Spcialis inAircraft Airworthiness will provide future operators with the key to suc-cess in times to come.
