KISHTWAR, Sept 16: Ateenage girl allegedly commit-ted suicide by consuming somepoisonous substance at her resi-dent in Padder, falling under thejurisdiction of Gulabgarh PoliceStation.

As per police sources,Pritiksha Devi (18), daughter ofGulab Chand of Padder con-sumed some poisonous sub-stance at her residence threedays back.

She was rushed to DistrictHospital Kishtwar, from whereshe was later referred to GMCHJammu, where she failed torespond to the treatment andbreathed her last today.

In this regard, cognizancehas been taken by GulabgarhPolice Station.

RAJOURI, Sept 16: Thedistrict administration todayordered a blanket ban on theparking of vehicles in the prem-ises of old District Hospitalcomplex owing to constructionwork of GNM School.

In a communication addr-essed to District DevelopmentCommissioner (DDC), Rajouri,the Executive Engineer, PoliceHousing Corporation, intimi-dated that the work on the megaproject of General Nursing &Midwifery (GNM) Schoolcould not be started, as a largenumber of vehicles remainparked in the said complex.

To ensure the timely com-pletion of this crucial project,the District DevelopmentCommissioner ordered theChief Medical Officer andMedical Superintendent toensure that no vehicle of anyhealth official or private personis parked inside the complex tofacilitate the concerned agencyto carry out the constructionwork.
