Speaking on the occasion theSub-division Officer AkhnoorSom Nath Sharma instructedthe dealers to maintain properrecord of receipt and distribu-
tion of chemical fertilisersthrough POS machines only. Atthe end, the dealers were distrib-uted the said machines for thebenefit of farmers at large.

Former Sarpanch Mahinder Sudan, Surinder Singh, TonyMehta, Dalip Singh, Sham Singh, Salamat Ali and otherssaid that the Darbar could not take up all the grievances ofthe people pertaining to various departments and it remainedonly a formal visit of the officials to comply with the directionsof DC Rajouri, Dr Shahid Iqbal.
The villagers demanded that the team of officers comprisingall the departments should again visit these villages andredress the problems of the public.
Army imparts drivingtraining to youths
STATE TIMES NEWSNOWSHERA: The RR Battalion under the aegis of CounterInsurgency Force started a 20 days long cadre for impartingdriving training to the unemployed border youths in coordina-tion with the ARTO Rajouri. The training which commenced today will continue up to
10th July, 2017.The RR Battralion Lam has taken this unique step to
impart vocational training as also to motivate the unemployedyouths hailing from far flung area of Nowshera Sub-Districtto learn basic skills.
The trainees will be provided both theoretical and practicaltraining of driving and familarisation of basic mechanism ofsmall vehicles besides traffic norms.

STATE TIMES NEWSUDHAMPUR: Like previous years, Duggar Heritage SocietyUdhampur has decided again to render free medical servicesfor Amarnath Yatris with effect from 20th June to 20thAugust 2017 at Serv Sidhi Nursing Home Udhampur.
The services will be 24 X 7 hours that include free consulta-tion, Lab. investigation, ultrasound and indoor facilities.

During the meeting, the DCdirected the concerned depart-ments to ensure uninterruptedwater and power supply, secu-rity arrangements and propercleanliness in and around allEidgahs and Masjids in thedistrict.
Chief Sheep HusbandryOfficer and Chief AnimalHusbandry Officer weredirected to ensure sufficientavailability of meat at afford-able rates during the festival.
AD FCS and CA, FoodSafety Officer and LegalMetrology Department weredirected to keep a check on therates of essential commoditiesand were also asked to ensurethat good quality of eatableswere provided to the people.
Regarding security arrange-ments on the occasion, the DCasked the Police Departmentto ensure the same by deput-ing police personnel at desig-nated places in the town.
The Chief Medical Officerwas directed to provide ade-quate medicare facility anddeploy an ambulance at boththe Eid Gah and JamiaMasjid Udhampur during thefestival.
In order to ensure free flowof traffic during the occasion,the Traffic department was
directed to deploy adequatenumber of traffic personnel attraffic jam prone places.
Meanwhile DistrictDevelopment Commissioner,Ghulam Nabi Balwan con-vened a meeting of all the dis-trict officers to review arrange-ments for upcoming festival ofEid.
SSP Sandeep Wazir, CPOYasir Balwan, ACR MohdSayeed, ACD Garbhi Rashied,representatives from army,CRPF, district officers besidesImam Jami Masjid andAdministrator Auqaf islamiaattended the meeting.
RAJOURI: DeputyCommissioner, Dr. ShahidIqbal Choudhary, discussedarrangements being made bydifferent departments forShab-e-Qadr, Jumat-ul-Widaand Eid-ul-Fitr, at a meetingof officers that he chaired heretoday. Issues pertaining topower and water supply, mar-ket checking and regulation ofrates of essential items, sanita-tion, traffic management,health facilities and otherarrangements were discussedin detail in the meeting.
