Wholistic control and management will positively impact service quality.Scalable - The must provide operational scale to keep pace with rapidly changing service requirementsFlexible - Service providers must have a simplifed and flexible way of deploying management applications in order to reduce costs. Today, service providers are consuming significant time and resources in the integration of management tools.

Prime Central provides unified inventory view and fault management across the entire IP NGNWorkflow consistencies is enabled by single sign-on access to cross-domain operator workflows with point and click capabilities for provisioning, troubleshooting and performance analysis Support for standards-based northbound interfaces and integration probes reduces overhead and time for integration of applicationsLower costs can result from flexible rate of adoption for new components of the Prime suite (i.e. Lowers upfront costs, can pay incrementally with added components) Out-of-the-box integration with Cisco Prime components also reduces deployment costs

Cisco Prime provides a web based portal for operators and administrators who can access all lifecycle management functions together with cross launch capabilities for each functional module.

The portal allows single sign-on and Role Based Access Control (RBAC) to limit and control operator coverage area.

Web-based portal to access Cisco Prime lifecycle managers Common user experience with integrated operator workflows Unified Inventory for both transport and packet networks Common Event/Alarm management with correlation MTOSI rel 2.0 API for OSS integration (MTOSI = Multi-Technology Operations Systems Interface (MTOSI), an XML-based Operations System (OS)-to-OS interface suite.) MTOSI covers both service and resource level interfaces. At the resource level, MTOSI includes interfaces for inventory, provisioning, fault management, and performance management. At the service level, MTOSI has interfaces for service activation and for service inventory.8Thank you.C97-707260-00 2012 Cisco and/or its affiliates. All rights reserved.Cisco Confidential#
