ORIS SAGE Suite Release
Grant Runner Uplift
Released: 8/7/2014
ORIS
Grant Runner Overview
What is Grant Runner?
• A feature that allows users to complete and submit (via OSP) NIH Grant Application forms directly from SAGE
2
• Currently supports NIH research grants using SF424 (R & R) forms, with modular budgets (R01, R03, R21 primarily)
• The NIH forms appear in the left navigation of SAGE when you choose to submit using Grant Runner

Grant Runner Benefits
Why Use Grant Runner?
• No longer need to download the required forms from Grants.gov and attach to your eGC1.
• Pre-populates your SF424 forms with UW institutional data, contact information, PI data from eGC1.
• Allows lookup of key persons from UW Directory and pre-fills their info.
• Reduces redundant entry between the eGC1 and SF424 forms.
• Automatically checks for common SF424 errors and alerts you when you need to complete a required field or adjust an entry to meet NIH standards.
• Allows viewing of the Grants.gov tracking number and NIH status directly from your eGC1.
