Graduate School of Education Photo Shoot Talent Release
Dear Families
UWA develops websites, flyers, booklets and publications to provide information to the community on the courses and activities that are offered across UWA. Wherever possible the University likes to use photos that are local and specific rather than use a bank of generic photos. The Graduate School of Education is keen to develop a library of photos with children and teachers working in school classrooms.
There may be times when your childs photo is taken during these classroom activities. We are asking for you and your child to discuss the photo shoot and if you are agreeable to sign the attached talent release form.
What does participation in the photo shoot involve?
Your child will be invited to work on mainstream activities with the classroom teacher
The classroom activities will be photographed by an approved camera person
The photographs will be used as part promotional materials for the University of Western Australia
Only those families/children that return the talent release forms to the teacher will participate in the photo shoot. Participation in this photo shoot is voluntary.
What you need to know about the photo shoot process
Participants can withdraw at any time without affecting the familys relationship with your childs teacher or school
The Photographer will have undertaken a National Criminal History Record and a Working with Children Check
The photos will only be used for the purposes you have identified on the talent release form
When you have had time to read this information sheet, discuss it with your child and confirm that your family has agreed to participate in the photo shoot please return the attached signed talent release form to your classroom teacher. This photo shoot information letter is for you to keep. If you have any questions or require any information about the photo shoot please do not hesitate to call

Your image will be used in marketing materials for The University of Western Australia (UWA) to showcase the university to prospective students and the wider community.
All images become the property of UWA and may be used in University publications, on the UWA website and may be passed on to media to use only in conjunction with articles and advertising which directly promotes UWA and its students. Electronic versions of printed publications may also appear on the UWA website.
Please indicate your permission below for usages of your image.
I give permission for my image to be used by UWA in printed marketing collateral, in digital presentations (such as PowerPoint), on the UWA website, by media selected by UWA to promote UWA and its students.
