ORBIT: Project ManagementThis is a large project with significant project management issuesMajor tasks/issues include:

Establishing core project team, including both project engineers and qualified graduate students; set up collaboration mechanismsSetting up space for emulator, net operations center, etc.Selection of key hardware components for both emulator & outdoor netDevelopment, testing and integration of major software componentsPhased release of testbed facilitiesInitiating EWP’s “off-line” and porting them gradually to testbedBringing in other early users of the testbed (web interface, documentation, etc.)
