Microsoft® Office Integration

Fax2Mail users can send faxes directly from Microsoft Office with the click of an icon via the appropriate print drivers. If you prefer Microsoft Outlook®, you can take advantage of the optional toolbar which allows users to send attachments directly from the world’s most common enterprise email program.

SAP Connector

OpenText Cloud Fax Services support both the sending and receiving of faxes from the SAP Business Workplace interface. Faxes are submitted to our network where they are processed for delivery to recipients’ fax numbers. From there a delivery status message is returned to the SAP system for message reconciliation.

Web Services Integrations

Fax2Mail Connector for Xerox® MFPs

Fax2Mail has a connector for the Xerox ColorQube® 8700 multi-function printer (MFP) device. It allows users

to access their Fax2Mail account, scan a document, and fax it via the cloud–all from the Xerox ColorQube 8700’s user interface.

Users can access their Fax2Mail accounts in one of two ways. They can either swipe an identification badge or manually sign in to a Fax2Mail icon located on Xerox’s custom user interface known as the Extensible Inter-face Platform (EIP).

With the Fax2Mail Connector for Xerox MFPs, you have the option to enter details of your fax messages including:

n To: enter fax address/destination number

n From: enter Fax2Mail email address

n Attn./To: enter the recipient’s name

n Subject: enter the subject for the fax message

n Comments: enter any necessary comments

n Add Cover Sheet: include a cover sheet with your fax, the cover sheet selected corresponds with the user’s Fax2Mail account.

Finally, after sending your fax message through the Xerox ColorQube 8700 MFP, your fax delivery confir-mation report will arrive in your email–just like Fax2Mail.

The OpenText disaster recovery environment minimizes risks, costs, and duration of system failure by maintaining redundant facilities and performing regular updates and back-ups. The OpenText cloud fax network also provides excess capacity for addressing fluctuations in page volume.

Data Sovereignty Support in the European Union (EU)

OpenText has the ability to process EU customers’ cloud fax messages strictly within its data center in Slough, UK. This in-region processing capability was designed to help address privacy and data sovereignty concerns for customers who have requested “in region” processing. Thus, all their inbound and outbound cloud

fax messaging will be processed exclusively at the fully secure data center in Slough.

Manage New and Existing Fax Numbers

Administrators can self-provision fax numbers from our pool of available numbers. Once numbers are provi-sioned to a user it is activated within 30 minutes. You also have the potential option to port over your existing numbers to avoid any service disruptions and confu-sion with customers or other important stakeholders.
