Lee lelpi is vice president of this group. Many of the members are families offirefighters lost at the WTC.Give Your Voice for WTC Victims' Familieshttp://www.giveyourvoice.comThis group seeks to give families a voice in the recovery of remains and memorials to the victims.

Other than Pentagon Angels, the above groups are in New York. Most of them participate in a coalition that lobbies for anappropriate memorial at the Wo rld Trade Center. These groups have generally decided not to get involved in national policyissues.

There are a number of other single-issue groups:

911 Families for a Secure A merica lobbies for immigration reform. (Led by Peter Gadiel.)Fix the Fund (www.fixthefund.org) wants to increase the payouts from the federal September 11th VictimCompensation Fund. (Led by Charles Wolfe.)September E leventh Families for Peaceful Tomo rrows (www.peacefultomorrows.org) is an anti-war group.

There is another so-called family group called "9/11 Families United to Bankrupt terrorism." I say "so-called"because it is a creation of Ron Motley's law firm (formerly Ness Motley but now called Motley Rice, I believe),which is the lead firm in the lawsuit against Saudis and others accused of funding Al Qaeda. Other lawyersworking with Motley include Allan Gerson and Harry Huge (pronounced You-gee). Other law firms handlingsimilar suits include Kreindler & Kreindler (Jim Kreindler) and Speiser Krause (Jerry Lear and Ken Nolan). MarySchiavo of Baum, Hedlund, Aristei, Guilford & Schiavo is the lead attorney in lawsuits against United Airlinesand American Airlines in cases brought by families of people killed on the planes.
