    Corporate Headqu arters. Following the initial call from her in which she described theshooting; Ri f fe did not speak to her again. The notes from the call with Clark were givento her man ager that day, Fran Lozito (#2 in the FAA co m m and center). Lozito gave themto Lee Longm ire (# 1 in the com m and center). The inform ation was put into a log. Theexecutive summ ary was produced from the log. Rif fe ' s view was that the executivesummary was being prepared for the Administrator.According to Ri f fe , th e next day someone in the Adm inist rator 's office said that her notewas the only gun referen ce found and to please clarify for accuracy.Lee Longm ire asked Ri f fe to contact A m erican Airlines to confirm her report of the gun.She talked to her normal point-of-contact, Chris Bidwell, th e manager of corporatesecurity at Am erican Airlines. Riffe said Bidwell told her the report was erroneous. Riffeverbally passed th e update to Lee Longmire.

    Ri f fe didn't know anything about follow-on drafts of the executive summary that mayhave deleted the passage.Riffe indicated that the GA O did a com prehe nsive investigation into the gun issue.Ri f fe expressed her view that Suzanne Clark, if asked, would deny telling Ri f fe anythingabout a shooting; although Ri f fe is sure she did.Riffe added that there was a lot going on in the com m and center and in the aviationsystem .
