SPECIAL RESOLUTION TO AMEND BY-LAWSIn accordance with section 39, ‘Repeal and Amendment of ByLaws’, the Board of Directors is recommending approval to change the By-Laws as outlined below:

PAGE 8 – ADD NEW SENTENCE AT THE END OF SECTION 32.“Long-Standing Board Members of NUMEA will be honoured for their years of service upon their resignation from the Board as follows:

Less than 5 years do not receive an award5 – 9 years of service = $25 Gift Certificate10+ years of service = $50 Gift Certificate

In all circumstances, they will be provided with a certificate of acknowledgement to recognize their years of service.” PAGE 6 – IN ORDER TO SUSTAIN NUMEA’S NEW WEBSITE AND BOARD FIDUCIARY INSURANCE, INCREASE MEMBERSHIP DUES TO $1 PER PAY ($26) PER YEAR:IN 9. CHANGE “Any Member failing to pay his or her dues by July 30th of any year may have his or her name struck from the Registrar of Members.” to “Any Member failing to pay his or her full dues by fiscal year end of any year may have his or her name struck from the Registrar of Members.”
