Xplore Our Savior

XPLORE OUR SAVIOR SUNDAY SCHOOL (XOS) Our Savior would like to work together with you in pointing children to Jesus. We offer something for two year olds and their parents through grade six. Register in the church office on Sunday or during the week.

CHECK OUT SYSTEM For the safety of children, Nursery-Grade four are checked out from inside their XOS room with a Guide present. We look forward to our new building having computer check-in and out capabilities!

HELP WITH OLD FASHOINED NATIVITY PAGEANT Preparations for pageant include ironing costumes, locating 3 straw bales and putting up the set on Dec 9, 6:30. Contact Trish & let her know where you can help.

PREPARE TRADITIONAL CHILDREN’S CHRISTMAS SACKS Dec 7 at 10:00 & enjoy coffee & rolls.

RM 56 CHRISTMAS EVENT (YOU MUST REGISTER) Dec 3 from 5-7:30. Grades 5-6 will meet with their parents at the new church building to help with the Christmas Gift, have hot cocoa and Christmas cookies, and see their new room! Register NOW! This will be a servant event where parents and their children will be sorting $30,000 worth of new toys to help other fami-lies. Meet and enter at the front door of our new church build-ing 2420 West Omaha Ave. Parents are highly encouraged to join their child in this event! What a GREAT opportunity to teach your child that the season of Christmas is about giving

rather than receiving. You are welcome to purchase a toy to bring to the event.

BIRTHDAY PARTY FOR JESUS! 2 Yr old/Parenting Class Dec 3, 9:15. What a privilege it is to teach our kids the real meaning of Christmas. The birth of baby Jesus!

THE NURSERY CLASS The three year olds at Our Savior are blessed with six caring guides, Devon Maly, Jenny Horstman, Jodi and Darrin Bush, Melissa Seevers, and Melissa Blum. Every Sunday at 9:00 this team is ready and prepared to Point Little Ones to Jesus. Please continue to pray for this team, that they would be blessed by being on the Xplore Our Savior Ministry Team, and that they would continue to be a blessing to the three year olds and their families.

CHRISTMAS SERVICES DECEMBER 24- Traditional Services at Our Savior are 10:30am, 5:00pm and 11:00pm Candlelight ser-vice. Contemporary Services are 3:00pm & 5:00pm at Johnny Carson Theatre. Families worshipping the New Born King to-gether!

CONGREGATION MEMBERS four volunteers are needed in Children’s Ministry. One to organize Sunday School technology such as sound, lighting, microphones and movie clips; and three volunteers to substitute for team members when they need to be gone on a Sunday morning.

UPDATE ON BUILDING

What an EXCITING day it was for the Groundbreaking Celebration!

We broke ground, and Construction has begun at our new building.

We had over 400 people come together to eat. Thank you to everyone who provided food, helped to set up or

teardown, and Tabitha for getting the food together to serve.

There was a balloon launch from the children of the congregation. Then we were able to write on the wall,

with our names or scripture, in the Traditional Sanctuary.

We had a Voter’s Meeting to approve the beginning of construction for the renovation of the relocated Our Sav-

ior Lutheran Church with a guaranteed maximum price of $3,014,137.86. The vote passed with 205-Approved

and 1-Did not approve.
