Thank you!!

Grade 1/2…Mrs. Sansom Thank you to everyone who donated snacks on Halloween

Day. The students enjoyed snacking while watching

Monsters Inc after a busy morning of Monster activities

in writing, math and art. A huge thanks to the grade 6-8

class for providing us with fun activities and a very scary

“haunted gym” in the afternoon.

Last week the students enjoyed the PAWS presentation

by Toby and his owners. Their message was “Kindness is

Cool”! This is something our class and school is working

on as we learn to be kind to ourselves, others and our

environment.

Thank you for helping your child ask their grandparent

questions about when they were young. The children

loved hearing these stories. This week your child will be

bringing home a sheet on “solids and liquids” to do for

homework. Please try to have them back by Friday.

Once again thank you for taking part in your child’s

learning.

On Thursday we are excited to attend the musical

production “Tarzan” in Brandon. The bus will be leaving

at 8:50 so if your child walks or is driven to school make

sure they are here by 8:45. We will be eating our lunch

on the bus on the way back so no warm ups please.

Our school Remembrance Day Service is on Monday, Nov.

10th at 1pm. Everyone is welcome to attend. Our class

will be doing a poem as well as a choir piece.

Have a fantastic week!!
