Clickers Mainly used for logistic purposes Focus on the interactions occurring in the classroom and strengthen them: Student-student (e.g., wiki) Student-instructor (e.g., Twitter) Student-content (e.g., simulation) TPACK (Mishra & Koehler, 2006) Discussion forums: If students post question to discussion forum – instructor replies within 24hrs If students email question – instructor replies within 48hrs This helps building community as students start replying to each others’ questions This reduces the number of emails/posts instructor needs to reply to
