Regional Training - Hostages Negotiations
(Manteca, CA) On November 12, 2008 starting at 0800 hrs. the Northern Region of the
California Hostage Negotiations will holding their regional training at Big League Dreams
located in Manteca, CA. The training day will consist of a debrief from the Tulare County
Sheriff Office and the F.B.I.. A bank take over, hostages, joint SWAT and CRT incident that
resulted in the release of hostages and bad guy going to jail. This incident has an important
training message, that being you can’t do it alone. This incident required the use of multiple
agencies to resolve the incident.
In the works as a secondary option if the ACOP is unable to attend, we have asked the
extremely popular trainers from D-PREP to come and share some information on First
Responders to Domestic Violence for Hostage Negotiators.
With the current economic state of affairs confirming speakers has been difficult and we are
striving to bring you most qualified presenters.
